Heard yesterday the Map plant manager has 2 weeks to retire or will be fired. Don't want to post rumors on the main board. Especially, considering the volatility of the rumor.

Sounds about right this has be a horrible launch.

I feel like no one person is to blame. It's all a bunch of insane circumstances

Much as I dislike the MAP production, I would hope Ford would sideline this person into a less important role, rather than force retire / fire, tbh.

Also glad Ford is realizing the status quo isn’t sustainable.

I don’t see firing the plant manager would have any positive impact on any of the launch issues I know of. Plant Managers have no direct responsibility for bad supplier product quality. That being said there could be other issues that might warrant his replacement but if that were the case, he would typically be reassigned immediately and retire later. I don’t think they would let a under performing plant manager to linger around for two weeks contemplating retirement.
