Hey everyone! Southern MA local. Build date 1/24/22. 4dr BD Manual. Anyone have any suggestions on the best drives/trails to hit up early spring?

Not much in MA, i would go to VT a lot of the dirt roads are public and during mud season some become impassable. I dont know anything thats rock crawling though if you are looking for that.

Went to VT this weekend the cat4 roads in middle of VT are no joke

@Mike_M You know of any comprehensive list/map of those specific roads in VT? I'm under the impression I would have to search town by town...

There were some i found on google its county by county and the quality of road is not very easy to figure out. So the short answer is no, so far i have only done some roads around jones brook in Berlin.

@dsco best suggestions I've seen yet! Is granitview somehow related to UNH? I have a few family members that work there.

@Maineah hey, thanks. So no affiliation with UNH or Graniteview. I found these using google-fu and spending a few hours in the 4x4 research "rabbit hole"

@Mike_M about 10 miles? looks like a great route off of 89. How long did it take, any water crossings? I wonder what the difference is between a Class VI and Cat4, maybe just used interchangeably...

@dsco No water crossings but giant puddles and some washouts, I was using Class 4 and category 4 interchangeably its basically old unmaintained road, not plowed and infrequently if ever repaired.
