I know it’s pretty last minute but I figured I might as well share this event in case anyone else is interested.

So you going to do the hard or easy trail run?

I guess it depends on what the hard trail is. The "extreme run" says it requires 35s so we'll see but I didn't sign up for it since I'm on the standard Badlands 33s.

I'm planning to arrive sometime around 4pm.

I should be up there early, going to hit the morning run then decide. You spending the night or doing a day trip?

I’m planning on staying the night. Since you’ve been before, perhaps you could enlighten me. Does everyone just find a spot somewhere at Base Camp there on Rock Creek? I’ve got a more secluded spot closer to the lookout tower but if the events are focused on that side, then I’ll likely just stay at Base Camp.
