I apologize if I am doing this wrong…new to bronco world and this site. I recently received a build date of 10/17 and since I live here in Cleveland I wanted to join this group. Big question tho…I put my reservation in at Nick Mayer Ford and as the date gets closer I was starting to worry a bit about the pricing. I called my sales guy Greg (he does commercial sales) and asked him if my original build price was what I would pay. At the time of making my reservation on the build he said I didn’t need to put any money down nor did I sign anything. He then said my original base price of the badlands was protected but that any of the options that I ordered might face an increase through ford and that would be passed on to me. Didn’t sound right so I called Ford customer service and was told of the Ford price protection. I called Greg back and he sidestepped a bit by saying that the dealership doesn’t always get compensated for the increase by Ford so they get it from me…I pushed a bit back and then he said perhaps it‘s not a worry and wait to see when the window sticker is produced. He did say that the dealership does not do a market increase to the price..but his odd language on the options pricing got me thinking.
I ordered a badlands, MIC, 2.7, leather and LUX package. Thanks for any help or thoughts.
