I apologize if I am doing this wrong…new to bronco world and this site. I recently received a build date of 10/17 and since I live here in Cleveland I wanted to join this group. Big question tho…I put my reservation in at Nick Mayer Ford and as the date gets closer I was starting to worry a bit about the pricing. I called my sales guy Greg (he does commercial sales) and asked him if my original build price was what I would pay. At the time of making my reservation on the build he said I didn’t need to put any money down nor did I sign anything. He then said my original base price of the badlands was protected but that any of the options that I ordered might face an increase through ford and that would be passed on to me. Didn’t sound right so I called Ford customer service and was told of the Ford price protection. I called Greg back and he sidestepped a bit by saying that the dealership doesn’t always get compensated for the increase by Ford so they get it from me…I pushed a bit back and then he said perhaps it‘s not a worry and wait to see when the window sticker is produced. He did say that the dealership does not do a market increase to the price..but his odd language on the options pricing got me thinking.
I ordered a badlands, MIC, 2.7, leather and LUX package. Thanks for any help or thoughts.

The sticker will not show price protection. It'll show current MSRP.

It's my understanding that price protection was only for people who had reservations but I could be wrong

I am also here in Cleveland. I ordered on 1/4/22 through Autonation Westlake for a Badlands, SAS, MIC, 2.7, 4dr. You should be price protected as was explained to me by their sales manager. For me the protection will be at the 2022 MSRP. They also do not charge market adjustment.

@I3lackRose I have not been scheduled yet. I’m hoping to get scheduled for this first round of 2023. When did you place your order? What did you order?

I got a check from the dealer for the second tier of price protection. First tier came off the sales price in the form of a Ford "certificate". It was a complete mess. Not sure why Ford can't use the same system for all the Price Protection promises.

I moved my reservation from Nick Mayer to Preston Ford. They were sketchy from the very get go, non-communicative, and did not seem to know anything about the process and what information was coming from Ford corporate. However that was long, long ago so maybe it’s improved there? Make sure you get things in writing/documented at each turn.

I worked with Nick Mayer Ford in Mayfield. I dealt with the GM Matt Stringer and he was amazing and put up with me for 19 months. Maybe you are at a different location, I understand they have more than one. They did not charge any ADM and they gave me both of the price protection credits instantly at the time of purchase, in addition they gave me the full $1,000 Ford appreciation money. As someone else mentioned, the price protection was only for reservation holders. My experience was much different than BronchoPeat's. In a nutshell, it couldn't have been a better transaction for me.

I ordered from their new Avon location back in October. Finally got it at end of July. The way it worked there was there was two price increases since I ordered it in October. The new sticker showed the new increased price. I am supposed to get a rebate check on the difference in 60 to 90 days, once Ford verifies that I am the original person who ordered it.
