. So I’m getting older (53). I live in Orange County NY about 50 miles outside NYC. I got a few ol friends I want to take to Traverse city next June (2023). Just a cabin or something. Any suggestion? I’m driving a 4dr badlands totally stock. I have no clue as far as accommodations or trails. Thx

@USAGUY we love to share what we have here in MI with others! We regularly have out of state attendees at our events and we are trying to help grow the Bronco Community (we love Toyotas, Jeeps, Chevys, whatever else people drive too:)) By the way, Traverse City is crazy busy starting mid June and peaking around 4th of July for Cherry Festival. Make reservations early if you plan to stay around town. You can DM me with specific questions too.

@USAGUY One place you'll want to go while you're in the Traverse City area is Boone's Long Lake Inn, which is just to the south of TC proper. They've got some of the best steaks I've ever had and their perch dinner is a local favorite. Like @Mattwings said, the Cherry Festival runs July 1st thru 8th and is quite popular drawing people from all over for a week or two on either side, so book as early as you can. Traverse City's website has good info on where to stay in the area.
Leland, Empire, Sutton's Bay, and Kalkaska are some of the neighboring towns that are worth checking out while you're in the area too. Silver Lake Sand Dunes is definitely worth a visit if you can swing it, but it's a little over 2 hours southwest of TC and unless you're going to be in the area for a week or so, it might be a bit out of the way for you.

@MontyMoose agree on Boone’s Long Lake Inn. I have been there many times and it never disappoints!

If you have onX off road, it has a lot of trails on there as well

And 9 weeks later, still waiting for my Bronco to be fixed because of the stupid dealership in town who apparently has no idea what's going on. 😩

@ScoutandBronco - you should come out anyway. This group is pretty welcoming to people who show up for events in non-Broncos ;) Would love to see you guys!

@HokieinMI I thought about showing up and trying to run the course in the loaner Escape. I'll explain all damage with "I would have gone in my Bronco by you morons couldn't get it fixed in a timely fashion" Sorry about your loaner. :ROFLMAO:
