Has anyone taken their Bronco to San Tan Ford for any recall or warranty work? I have an appointment next week for the Driveshaft replacement recall and also a leaking A-pillar. Kinda worried I'm going to be out of a car for a long time while they figure these issues out.

I went to san tan ford and they ordered the part .... was told it was on back order ..... they do a visual inspection and only change the part if there is visible grease/oil splattered on the under carriage .... if they see signs of it, they will not allow you to leave with your vehicle even if the part is NOT at the dealership yet .... i guess its a liability thing .... so in essence if there is oil/grease splatter the car is undrivable and you have to leave it there until the part gets in and they have time to schedule it .... so BEAWARE
Best thing to do is to get under the car and look for it yourself first .... they told me its not even a recall, but just a courtesy that Ford offers .... DO NOT take the car in if the part is not delivered at the dealership. I'm still waiting for the part even though they ordered it 3 weeks ago.

Good info, thank you. So you've been out your car for 3 weeks? Did they give you a rental?

no ... i never gave it to 'em cuz the part wasn't there .... once they inspect it, your stuck with their decision .... i made an appt for Dec 14th, called them on the 12th, part wasn't there so i didn't go .... they wont call to tell me when the part has arrived either, i have to call every week
anyway i inspected it myself and i dont see any signs of grease/oil so i'm not worried about it

there is another recall regarding the front side airbags that I am concerned about .... have to wait and see if i get notified by snail mail

They ordered the Driveshaft for me, it came in and they set a 5 hour appointment for this week. Not too concerned

Took mine to LHM Ford, they did a software recall for the APIM, but then realized they don't have the parts for the Driveshaft recall. They are giving me back the Bronco until they get the parts in stock, lol. I made sure to verify with both the appointment person and the Service rep that the parts were in stock, so kinda confused there.
