Since Georgia has beach sand, red clay and mountain rock, interested to see see what the group is thinking on the Sasquatch package ( for those that aren't getting a WT or FE). In July, I was 100% hairy on the Sasquatch. Now, I am starting to shed. There are other posts on this point but since we are all driving the same roads being it dirt roads in Metter or asphalt in Atlanta, trying to decide the practicality of the Sasquatch particularly since I am on pavement more than a beach or rock climb. I know its more than just 35" tires, but not sure I want 35" tires.

To answer your question at the end of the post, 35" tires are not practical at all. These are also going to be Mud Terrain tires from the factory. MTs are great in their true element, but will cause some misery while driving on asphalt or any highway road trip. While I say all of this, I've honestly only driven MTs on a SFA vehicle. These are loud tires, plus on highway at speeds over 70mph can create an effect known as wander and on Wranglers a dead center when steering. Sasquatch is for wheeling, but we all recognize the cool factor. Maybe purchasing the Squatch will cause you and your family to want to go out more to either camp, go wheeling, or just a Sunday afternoon short hike. Any time you get Muds in dirt, they'll feel right as rain. Actual rock crawling is up to the individual, but just light trails will feel good. MTs also handle rain well and snow pretty good in a pinch as long as its not too deep.

I’m a self proclaimed noob to the off-road scene so take this as you will: 33s seem to be the sweet spot for an all around rig. I’m hoping there’s some kind of factory option for 33s on lower trims like BD and BB. Having to adjust gearing and speedometer sounds like a pain later and I would rather have that buttoned up from the jump. @MadMan4BamaNATL thoughts/experience?

@Mantis 33” tires will be just fine. Globally, that’s the most popular off road size and you’ll have a ton of options with some of the best being BF Goodrich KO series or MTs. I’d that that is the best all around if you get the Badlands or build a lower trim up with proper suspension upgrades along with the tires and wheels. Adjusting the gearing for bigger tires isn’t too bad and should cost less than $500 for a good off road shop. This is a guess because I have no idea what a shop might charge or working on the Bronco.

Not worth it for me, I just want the car because I think it looks cool. It also seems like even at a base level it'll have more off-road capability than I would ever need, so not tempted by sasquatch at all.

I have 34s 295/60-20s on my f150. Nitto terra grappler g2. Real quiet and great all around tire except wet asphalt can be a little slippery. After the squash tires get tired, pun intended. I’ll go with the G2s maybe step up a size. As far as handling, with the ifs and a good shock you will probably love the ride. Keep the tires around 35 psi and let the big sidewell eat the small bumps and the stiff shocks should eat the big ones.
