So, with no X-plan, does anyone have a Michigan dealer that is not going to screw them over with ADM or doc fees...
I guess we don't know until B&P comes and prices are known, but I will work with my locale dealer in Cadillac, and see what they will do. If I don't like it, I will switch to another regional dealer, or Stephens.
We should help each other and if you have a good dealer with reasonable fees and out the door price, please share...the more info we have walking into a dealer, the better for us, the buyer.

Yeah, after B&P is out Friday I plan on contacting Bill Brown Ford in Livonia, where my reservation is now, and possibly Tom Holzer Ford in Farmington Hills. I'm thinking they'd be my first backup dealer. I'll be moving to Novi in early '21 and this will be my first Ford so I don't have any loyalty to a dealer.

Still planning on going through Granger in Iowa. $2k below invoice seems even more appealing now.

@Ksm I don't want to cancel my reservation and make a new one at the back of the line. But that is a great deal.

@ChrisKz Yes, but that won't get you the $2k deal, that was for NEW reservations in October. It would be the $1k deal, which is still nice.

I am going with Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor. I have access to Z-plan so I do not know about extra fees for those without it, but I was told no additional deposit when placing your order when I called about a week ago.

@Philly Same here. I've talked to Matt over there, whom I've bought through before. We haven't discussed price at all yet. I'm waiting for B&P before bothering to go there. I trust him to do right by me if he has the flexibility, but at the same time, he's not the owner or GM, so his hands could get tied as easily as anyone else. I'll start pressuring for more specific promises once I get to the point where I need them. I'm certainly not going to dump demands for specific commitments on him yet. I don't think it would be fair or reasonable at this point while everyone is still digesting all of the recent changes. There's plenty of time for that and I'd like to stick with him and Varsity unless I can't justify it.

It's definitely nice to know that we have through January to move the reservation, that definitely makes things a bit easier.

https://www.jdemmerford.com/ I'm going through here, granted I have A-Plan, but last I chatted with them they weren't doing ADM, My Mom's Cousin's husband basically refuses to go to any other dealership besides them now because of how good they are. I can confirm that $500 is due when you place the order: I can post a further update of what you can expect from them after the B&P goes live.

I switched mine to granger beginning of the month. Still getting 1k under, seems like a hell of a deal now. Glad I switched.

Yea Im going to talk to my dealer once I have a price idea and see what they say, hoping that they will honor an X-plan price since I have bought numerous cars from them, but if not I will likely switch to Stephens unless some other local deal pops up.

Who is your salesperson at Varsity? Holzer has been fine so far, but I would prefer not to have them sit on my $500 for 8 months. Their service department is just so, so and my Holzer guy passed away, so, maybe time to switch?

@Mattwings I'm with Matt Vodry at Varsity. I only have the one purchase through him so far. Bronco will be my 2nd new Ford. My first experience was completely devoid of any BS and that's exactly how I like it. Can't comment on their service dept, unfortunately.

@Mattwings I am with Kyle House. I haven't bought a Ford through him, but my parents have and he was a recommendation through a family friend who has bought several through him. Great guy and easy to work with from every experience I have had.

I actually just got an email back from Jack demmer ford. Said they feel that ford will change their decision on the xplan. Also said that jack demmer will make allowances but they cannot guarantee x plan pricing. lastly they said "I can guarantee you will not pay sticker, we will discount your cost" I really like that dealership, service department is easy going and friendly, so is the quick lane across the street.
