Yesterday's run to Big Sur's Old Coast Road was a blast, with 25 Broncos attending. Join us next time!

Here's a video of a walk-thru during air-down on the side of Highway 1, near the southern trailhead:

Incredibly, out of 25 rigs, seven were Cyber Orange; I'd never seen that many together before.

Very coo, love to see so many Bronco's on one run. Are going to post a thread on the trips board. I had no idea about this route and i'm originally from Morgan Hill now in Sacramento. Would like to see pic's from the run.

A 10.2 miles (16.4 km) portion of the original Old Coast Road still exists. It is accessible to high-clearance vehicles from Highway 1 immediately north of the Bixby Creek Bridge. The road enters the El Sur Ranch for 6.5 miles (10.5 km) and descends sharply into the Little Sur River canyon.

Definitely a fun day. Great to have so many Bronco people and families turn out. Thanks to @WheelMe and everyone that helped organize this event. 👍👏

Is the big sur trail that dirt road with a couple of puddles on it?
I did it in a toyota yards a few ago and didn't air down.

Yup. We saw a few regular sedans out there, including a Toyota Corolla. Mainly, it was a chance for the new folks to get their rigs dirty, and to meet some good bronco folks.

Look forward to the next one! Can't make 8/26. Can you drop a pin on this Big Sur route/road? Cheers

@MJBbase22 I like headiing south-to-north, and this is the southern entrance to the trail, you can see the trail on the map, on the east side of Hwy. 1. Just follow the trail, and you'll pop out by Bixby Bridge in about 45 min ~ 1 hr., depending on your speed and number of stops. https://goo.gl/maps/C5V6L3naF8DzDSC59
