Heads up for GA peeps - Autonation Ford out of Marietta emailed me to confirm " Yes will be at MSRP no dealer markup, other than our window tint ($399), dealership fee ($699)and taxes, state fees..."

Is anyone in this club ordering from out of state - and where? I know Granger and Stephens have good under invoice pricing, but a bit far away. Looking for help from the GA brethren :)

Supposedly Twin Rivers in Nashville is doing invoice plus like a $400 doc fee, and Mullinax in Alabama has said they'll do x-plan comparable pricing. Nothing I've seen in Georgia yet.

@g8rb8t let me know what you hear from Hardy. I have my reservation there too. I emailed the GM of Sales and he told me they are doing MSRP.

Open conversations currently with Hardy Family Ford, Jim Tidwell Ford and AutoNation Ford (Marietta). Will report findings once confirmed. @the blue potato will let you know if I hear anything different from AutoNation. Maybe if we keep knocking on doors one will open(?)

@g8rb8t I have a day one res with Tidwell also. Don't know anything about them. I'm following this as well. I was thinking about switching to Stephens if nothing in GA but am worried about my delivery.

Here's an update on what I've found out:

1) I've determined I will "NEVER" buy a vehicle from AutoNation Ford of Marietta, GA. After emailing them I received a rude, disrespectful reply stating the following:

"In the realm of economics there are only two words...supply and demand. With limited supply verses demand price becomes the focus. This dealership respecting the trust and confidence of our patient clients will honor the A and Z plans. Retail customers will be MSRP plus a $699.00 Doc Fee.
Let the record show we have no interest in matching other advertised discounts from out of state Ford dealers."

I took the opportunity to reply with the following:
"Let the record show even of you did match or beat the deal I will gladly not deal with your dealership due to the disrespectful tone of your email.

Could've said the exact same point without the total lack of politeness and lack of customer service.

I will be sure to spread the word and avoid your dealership at all costs. "

2) Jim Tidwell also replied (in a much more professional manner) stating the same thing - "We are not charging ADM on any of our Broncos, but we do plan on charging MSRP for them. I understand this may cause some customers to exclude us from consideration, but after weighing the pros and cons it is the business decision we have reached. Please let me know if you have any questions."

Still awaiting my reply from Hardy Ford (where my reservation is)...

@g8rb8t Thanks for posting. That sucks about Tidwell. At this point I my have to go with them unless a local dealership shows up. I think if you have an FE reservation you'll be fine switching to Granger or Stephens. I have a day one "non-FE" and my fear is that if I switch, I'm not getting a MY21.

@PatientlyWaiting All indications are that this will not be the case. Choice of dealer likely won't impact us that much, particularly for Day 1 reservations.
