Alright, I'm irritated watching these guys in Michigan have all the fun. When are we going to be able to see and touch a Bronco at a PA dealer???

Agreed! I can't even get a Sport that has navy pier so I can decide if I need to change out of it.

Couldn't wait any longer... Got round trip flights to ATL on SWA for $200. Will be at the Atlanta Auto Show on 4/17.

Placed my order yesterday at Cochran. Ken and the team are up to speed and all have reservations as well. It may not be quite as low as Stephens, but happy with the deal and knowing I’m not with 200 other orders and can pick up locally from a good group. 2Door FE Lightning Blue for now

With ordering hopefully coming up, I’m starting to think about things like warranty and interest rates.

What is everyone’s thoughts on extended warranties through Ford?

Do you have any plans on getting the best interest rate?

For me, with this being a new model for Ford I’m strongly considering extending the bumper to bumper coverage through the life of my 5 year loan.

For interest rates, i would like to come to the dealer prepared with at least one option myself. I see that PNC Bank offers some decent rates for new vehicles. I see 3.24% for 60 months. That’s not great but not terrible.

I don’t think we need to decide on these things until we take delivery, but these affect the total cost of the vehicle which does impact ordering for me.

Yes. And Flood Ford is known as the low cost goto

I've had good luck with USX credit union if you have an in there. 60 month @ 2.5% if you open a checking there (and 90% LTV)

Just adding in Zeigler Ford as well discounts ESP. I will be pricing them and Flood to get a price I can use to talk the dealer about. Worst case I will get it from whichever is lower.

Finally got to see Cactus Grey in person today at Moon Township Ford! This was the color at top of my list(barely). All I can say is you need to see it in person. I just tried to describe to my wife and couldn't. If I post the pics I took, it will mislead you even more. Best I could do was say that it is that it's a very light grey with a hint of mint to it. That's on a cloudy day. I told her I'm going back in the sun and I bet it will look completely different.

Likely still first on my list, but didn't blow me away either. I do think it shows all the lines of the Sport nicely and is a nice looking car color overall.

I saw an Area 51 Sport at Washington Ford today. It was at the top of my list, not anymore. Cactus Grey is back on top. Even though I have an early 14Jul reservation I don't even think I'm making Stephens initial 70 allotment. I'm heavily think of deferring to MY22, especially since everything I want is on the low commodities list and is going to push me out to fall anyways so I might as well wait 3 more months to get what I want and see if they have a green for MY22. @PittShawn, I love the Lightning Blue!

I am on the Heritage MY22 plan. I shudder to think what they are going to nail me for on that baby.

Has anyone’s dealer committed to ordering a big bronco for the customer loaner program? I spoke to a dealer out of the area and they had to make a decision today.

I am waiting for my 1 dealer to respond as well.

They told me they were. He said when it came in he would give me first shot pick it up on Saturday when they close and drop it off Monday morning. This all came up cause he called me when they got their sport in and offered it up..I said no thanks. I have a decent relationship (at least I think I do with them), My dealer responded the night that the 19th was released as an order date start with "that it was BS"...I hated (but loved) to inform him of several sources that it was in fact correct...He didn't respond and I have not heard anything from them further.

I forgot to ask. I'll check.
Anyone have luck finding bronco sports in the area? When I look on fords website it says there should be a handful of them around the area but when I look at the actual dealer websites (shults ford and Woltz wind specifically) it is inconsistent with what ford is saying. I was going to go out on Sunday and look for certain colors so I could see them in person but don’t want to waste my time.

Hey All, Just a heads up that the Sports are starting to hit lots if you're like me and want to see colors. Moon Township Ford supposedly has a cactus grey which is one of my choices. I'm going to head over today to look and will confirm.

No luck on the Sports. I drove over today but couldn't find them. I'm still technically in covid quarantine, so I couldn't ask anyone. Hopefully I can stop back over this weekend and ask.
Has anyone heard if any local dealers will have demo Broncos on location prior to ordering?

I've confirmed I'll be staying with Cochran Ford in Natrona Heights. They offered a very fair deal, which makes it not worth driving anywhere outside of Pittsburgh. They've been extremely helpful and willing to work on a 1 to 1 basis. It's definitely worth contacting them to talk through your build. Let me know and I can connect you.

Hey All, so far a few people have had good success with Cochran. Seems to be worth it. Again, may not be at Stephens exactly, but I’m happy with it and seems others are too!
PittShawn
Mike from Cochran has been great to work with and has given me permission to post his email. If interested, you can reach out to Mike at [email protected]. He’s been on this forum and sees the need here locally! Mention 6g when you reach out.

For those of us wanting to see Bronco Sports to get an idea on color....Cochran is expecting to get 2 in shortly that will be dealer loaners and will let me know(and said he'd send pics). Also, he said Ricart in Ohio got there's in this week if anyone is out that way. I'll try to get another update mid-next week. I don't plan on ordering day 1 anyway(no need), so I can wait until more come in to see.

So has anyone gotten any leads to where/when we could see the Bronco in person around Pittsburgh? I doubt we’ll be able to check it out before it’s time to place orders. I’m thinking it’s a safe bet the Bronco should be at the auto show in February though.

Just checked the website, looks like it is planned as a virtual event this year. Awesome.

After seeing those pics posted from Arizona I would be willing to drive further than I’d like to admit if someone spotted something similar in a parking lot somewhere in SWPA.

Same, a few months ago there were a few spotted at a hotel in Uniontown which I didn't see in time or else I would of checked it out.
Glad a found a Pittsburgh centric group on here. Now that B&P has been out for about a week curious what everyone has landed on at the moment? Right now I’m looking at a white or Area 51, 2d band lands, high package upgrade and 2.7

MGV is why BL is in my decision process. I lose the tube step, though, and my wife and daughters will need that.

Hoping Ford comes to its senses and offers MGV on all trim levels. I mean, what is the reason not to?
Lothbrok
Lothbrok
Originally a WT, but I'm dropping to an optioned out BL with Lux/Squatch/Tow/MIC/2.7. Looks like I'll have to add the roof rails on later myself since Ford isn't allowing it. Will most likely be adding a winch down the road. For roughly the same price, the BL is a better option loaded than a loaded WT. You just get more for your money. Probably A51 or Oxford White (90% positive I'm going with A51 though).

FE Reservation moved to Stephens Auto Center in WV. Deciding between Cyber Schoolbus and Lightning Blue... Not crazy about either at this point.

Pricing Update....I've sent my B&P info over to the dealer yesterday, so hopefully I'll have an update for everyone in the next day or so.

Well, after the X-Plan news, now what? I'm planning on calling around to see if any dealer will still honor X-Plan or even invoice pricing but I think it's a long shot.

Perhaps most of you saw this already, but here is the Stephen's detail of their offer from their site just in case. They have been updating the site as this process progresses.

Unfortunately, B&P did not help much. I was hoping to build out my model and go back to Cochran to finalize pricing offer. But I have a FE and hoping they give more interior options. I usually wouldn't really care, but it is so bad. And I think there will be more options added to B&P from now until December. Ford even said so in the updated Q&A. Luckily we have until Jan 31 to finalize and switch dealers, so I'll likely continue to wait it out until December. I have a really early time stamp or I'd probably wait until MY22 to have more choices. Instead, I'll take MY21 for summertime next year! We'll probably still be in quarantine anyway, so I can at least drive around top off!

Also, on a side note, after that shit show on Saturday vs Notre Dame, I think I need to consider changing my name

Hi All,
Just want to let you know we are very close to having an RFP ready for distribution early next week as part of the Mid Atlantic Buyers Pool. This should be able to be sent to any dealer you want when ready. As you know, best deal so far is with Stephen's in WV. Thanks and I'll keep you posted.

Nothing. Based on limited communication and feedback from local dealers I am going to be switching to Stephen’s. They have been very transparent this whole time thus far. Completely understand if folks want to stay local though.
wvmtneer
Does anyone know how many reservations their dealer has, and what number they are? I have an early August local, and late August Stephens. With the recent news, I may cancel and reserve again, to get a 22MY.

Also, do you all feel comfortable ordering a new vehicle without test driving and possibly not even sitting in one or seeing one in person? I’d hate to get cold feet at delivery and back out, which would hurt the dealer.
wvmtneer
I just found out i’m bottom 50% out of 120+ reservations at washington.
Borswayze
Borswayze
Interesting. Keep in mind people may switch to other dealers and/or not order. I have a 7/13 reservation so I believe I am in good shape wherever I go, but I could be mistaken. I am also OK not seeing the car in person and/or riding in it, but again that is just me. You definitely need to do what you can to make yourself comfortable before hand. Maybe worst-case scenario if you don’t like it, you will be able to sell it used and not lose any money.
PittShawn
Just wondering what everyone has decided to do about dealers. I'm still waiting for B&P, then going back to my Cochran contact to finalize what they'll do. Hopefully B&P comes out this week which gives us 2 weeks to confirm with dealers.

Glad to see we've had a couple people join! I don't post a lot but am always lurking. Trying to be patient and not waste a ton of time guessing before the build and price goes live. I got lucky and got a reservation 5 minutes into the reveal, so hoping I see this thing next summer while it's still warm!

Outside of the Cochran discussion, based on my discussions I've had I will not be changing to any group buying dealership until more information comes out. Just my opinion, but I fully believe that there will be a traditional allocation based process to this that ties into the reservations. Hopefully this becomes more clear in the next few weeks, and I'll reserve my one dealer switch token until it's very clear. I know Ford is aware of all of this and is I'm sure trying to come up with a plan.
VictoryLights
VictoryLights
@PittShawn what do you mean by a standard allocation based process? Do you mean that dealers will be getting only a limited number of broncos?
PittShawn
PittShawn
@VictoryLights Yes. I think people are thinking Tesla process, and that is not what’s going to happen. There is an independent dealer network still, and they can’t get around it. Granger has been fantastic on this site, and Stephens was great to put it out there in writing. I’m just going to wait a few more weeks and see
Lothbrok

Thanks for looking into this. We have more than a month until we hit the deadline so hopefully we know more soon.

That’s why i have two reservations. One local and one at Stephens.
