My buddy is running them and swears by their performance. He told me there are several circuits inside them and have a lot of options like high/low beam and running lights. I have no idea how he has his wired but I can't imagine it's very complicated.

This is handy if you are a ground tent sleeper. Instead of beating the tent stakes into the ground and having to pry them back out when you pack up, use 10" lag bolts instead. I carry an impact wrench when I travel and use that to drive them. I cannot tell you how much better it is than trying...
