Over the weekend my 22 Badlands was pushed the PCM update, and then the following day I had HVAC 22.AA.AC prompt me for install. Sounds like you’re right on it being both PVM and HVAC modules, and they had to stage the updates
I’ve gotten this glitch a fair amount too.
Mostly Light at Night. But there has been Dark in the Day time, which isn’t as bad.
Also where CarPlay boots into full screen mode, but the right third is overlayed with the OEM panel, or it’s blanked out. A minimize and full screen cycle solves it...

Not due to Ford Performance or anything... I had Method 502's on my FXT previously, have loved them since their partnership with VSC/SRTUSA.
Had the same thing happen with mine. Front and rear.
Front had worn through the insulation due to vibrations. The rear had a
nick/crimp in the line and it corroded.
I wasn’t as diligent with software, schematics or pinouts… just went to town with a multimeter and got er done.

My KO2s had Alternating Lug Wear like that. Alignment was good. Balance was good. Pressure was good. All 5 wore identical and it made no difference.
IMO, it’s part of BFG ownership. Falkens and Nittos have been fine since, with components(bushings, shocks, etc) being far more worn

The hardware supplied for assembly was a mixed grade and the nuts completely seized/corroded/rusted tight. Because of this, the feet that grab the tire lost adjustability and the whole assembly had to be cut apart.
A side note: Rotopax don’t fit the basket on “smaller” 33” tires. I machined up...
