Exactly right. I'm fine with a higher deposit but unless the dealer commits to price at the time of the deposit, it needs to be refundable.

Exactly right. I think this is the final piece that pushes me to cancel my early August reservation and lock in my 10/1 Granger reservation. MY2022, especially at $2k under invoice with FoMoCo killing x-plan for MY2021, is sounding really good right about now.

I went ahead and made a reservation with Granger this morning. I'm highly likely to cancel my initial reservation with Towne but of course would transfer to another CA dealer if they get close to Granger + shipping. If a bulk shipping order comes through with Granger, I'm interested!
