  1. Two batteries dead one after another.

Follow up. My battery came back with reverse polarity and they gave me a new one. Put the new one in and Im still having problems. No new add ons. I had a dual air compressor installed 2 1/2 years ago and a hidden winch 4 years ago. Nothing else electrical upgrades. No 12v fridge, I have a 2.4...
  2. Two batteries dead one after another.

Tried to reattach the battery after charging all day and over night and all it does is blast the horn. Nothing else happens no attempt to give power to anything. Just like someone is laying on the horn. Trying to find where the horn is so I can troubleshoot.
  3. Two batteries dead one after another.

Lots of awesome ideas here. Thanks to all. No I did not. I will charge the battery back up and reset it.
  4. Two batteries dead one after another.

I tried to post this twice, sorry if it’s a repeat. I went beach camping this weekend and had a 14 month old Costco battery (pictured) drain completely. Had a new one brought to me on Sunday and it got me home fine with two stops on the way. Left Monday on business trip, to come back home just...
  5. Why do Bronco owners drive so slow?

If you see me putting along slow, it’s because my fur babies are on board. šŸ˜€šŸ˜‚
  6. What is the appeal of off-roading?

I live in Lake Tahoe along the forest and during the summer the crowds are crazy, so I pick trails around my area for the weekend and get off road with both vehicles to enjoy solitude with my two dogs. I’m not a rock crawler, but I will crawl over objects to get to those places I want to see and...
  7. Will Mickey Thompson 255/85/R17s tires fit on stock Big Bend wheels?

I get to remove my badlands stock 33ā€ and put on some Kenda 35ā€ tomorrow getting delivered. Can’t wait!
  8. Let's see your roof-top Tents and camping setups!

No! I didn’t like the tubular look of the Gobi, so that was out of the question for me. When I remove it, I will take the front support bolts off and the rear four support bolt on each side and each support brace on each side. It took a while to assemble, but removing it will be very easy and...
  9. Let's see your roof-top Tents and camping setups!

Finally soft top owners have options since last year. I opted with JCR. It’s super solid and completely trust my lightweight Inspired Overland on it. I took it off road to Lake Leavitt off highway 108 where the Marines train at 9400 elevation. It handled off road just fine! I use my own weight...
  10. JCR Soft Top Roof Rack - Looking for reviews

No, not there. Expand your picture up in the top of the side brace where the two silver screws are. Just below the silver screws there is a metal bracket that goes in between the top and the side window and bolts onto the the Bronco. That metal bracket is separating the side window and the top...
  11. 2dr vs 4dr

I just came back from a Lake in the Eastern Sierras and took my two dogs and me in my 4 door for the first time. I thought I over packed and ended up using just about everything I stuffed into it. If I had a two door I would have to ditch the roof top tent and use ground tent, to free up roof...
  12. JCR Soft Top Roof Rack - Looking for reviews

I just got back from Leavitt Lake at the 9600 elevation and the it was the first time off roading with the rack and the tent on it. It was solid and I was quit pleased with the roof rack and tent combo. I think I scored a home run with my soft top and tent. I do have one gripe I think I can...
  13. JCR Soft Top Roof Rack - Looking for reviews

I just installed mine last week and it’s solid! I really like the looks of it over the rest that are available for soft tops. I’m going on a camping trip this coming weekend for a week with my truck camper. After that I’m going to install my roof top tent on the Bronco and I will put the JCR...
  14. More wind noise after tint?

They probably took it for a spin at 112mph.
