Nice ride, the hate on iconic silver is undeserved IMO!

Post an update when you make some more progress (y)

Sliders landed yesterday- those and tire swap happen immediately. Drivers here in Santa Fe aren't exactly the best- below pic is from my ZR2. That's not trail damage, that's parking lot idiot damage...

ADD bumpers and lights should land next week- will be a busy weekend!

Did some Forscan work as well- amber DRLs, global remote window close, stupid double honk gone.

ADD Rock Fighter rear bumper installed. It and the front landed today. Pretty easy swap, only real PITA was reconnecting the bumper wiring harness to the body harness. A bit of dielectric grease was key.

Front ADD Bomber next- Baja lights land tomorrow, so probably Thursday install.

PowerTank hung as well. Seriously well engineered and a nice piece of kit.

Just wrapped the stereo upgrade:

Musway M6V3 DSP Amp. 8 total DSP channels - 6 amplified, 2 out via RCA
4" Kicker KS Speakers in dash and rear pods
6 1/2" Kicker KS Speakers in front kick
PlugNPlay Kits harness

Musway TWO100 Amp to drive sub
8" Kicker Comp RT Sub

Mounted main amp under the front passenger seat. Problematic if you have (and use) the washout interior, but fits nicely for my application. Hidden with seat back. All signal wires run down the passenger sill.

Ford Bronco Tejona the Wildtrak IMG_0077

Ford Bronco Tejona the Wildtrak IMG_0080

4 AWG power down the driver's sill to a distribution block hidden behind driver's side cargo area panel. Clearly if you have a soft top you would need to mount lower- I have it high so I can easily access fuses if need be.

Sub and sub amp mounted to stock box; a bit of Dremel work was needed to get 8" sub to fit 6 1/2" hole. Klimat behind each spear, as well as polyfill.

Joseph at Musway tech support spent 30 minutes or so on the phone with me, remotely controlling my computer to get everything set up correctly. I still need to do a bit of adjustment with the equalizer, but it really sounds great. Nice stage presence for the music, great tone and musicality. Won't win any SPL contests, but that's not what I was looking for. Plenty loud and crisp for what I listen to. Joe at PlugNPlay has been great, helping me build a semi one off kit, and then answering any questions I had.

I just talked to Joe today with PnP! I ordered just the sub kit. I get this awful popping that I thought was rattle but is the actual speaker cone at certain frequencies from factory B&O sub. So you had to Dremel to make it fit? He assured it was drop in/same size but a similar video online showed cutting as well. How does it sound? I wasn't looking for thumping bass, just clearer and without that awful popping. Clean work!

Thanks! Took about 10 days working the install a couple hours a day to get everything figured out and loomed so it was clean.

Not sure on B&O enclosure- is it a stock 8""? If so, should drop in. On the standard enclosure, it is a 6.5", so to fit an 8" you do have to use a Dremel to enlarge. The speaker ships in with a piece cardboard in the box that worked well as a template.

Sound is as you are looking for- not annoying (to me) thumping bass, just clean low end to the music. I have yet to tune the DSP (this weekend's work), but even without that, the sound stage is great, and the definition is really nice.

The pop is odd- the Musway amp I am using for the sub does have a feature to allow RCA input to activate, but Musway support said using a low voltage link from main amp to turn it on would prevent the pop.

Joe is has been really great- knows audio, happy to spend a bit of time with you, and connected me directly with head Musway tech.

Yeah. This video shows the popping sound, sorry, did it quick. Took the whole panel off thinking it was rattle but even the speaker completely out at that exact frequency makes that sound.

The intro to this song was the best at replicating it so I could try to hunt it down.
