Very cool! How was White Rim trail? I've wanted to do that one since seeing it while on vacation with my wife. Just gotta talk her into the journey. I'm ready to purchase the rooftop tent.

What should I know before venturing down into the valley?

P.S. Although I think I know which tent I want to buy, I'd be open to any recommendations.

White Rim was spectacular! I don't recommend attempting to do in 1 day. We secured a camp site (approx 6 mos lead time). Ensure you have additional fuel. The trail is 88 miles in the park and roughly add another 20-30 miles to get close to gas stations. You will also need a National Park pass in addition to the Trail permit. This is the great thing - there are only a limited number of permits per day, so you're not bumping up against other groups.

If your camping (RTT), highly recommend GAIA and/or OnX to track your progress.

If you have any other questions please reach out. Happy to assist!

Highly recommend the Naturnest Aluminum Pop Up Rooftop Tent on Amazon. Just installed on my Son's 2021 Ranger and its awesome! For the price $1299 and quality you really can't beat it. It's so close to the Roofnest in design and quality, but 1/2 the price.

Great pics! And looks like it was a great trip. White Rim sounds interesting. Is that 88 miles round trip?

Yes, roughly its 88 miles to complete the trail in the National Park. The trail is a large horseshoe. See the attached map.

Impressive trail list, including some really fun but less traveled trails like Tower Arch, personally one of my favorite on that list. Well done, how long were you there for?

Horseshoe makes it sound like a nothingburger.

Here's your horseshoe. Good luck!

That is a good price. I was looking at this one. I don't know how to tell the difference in what you pay for. This is $3700. (My comfort, or I should say my wife's comfort, is worth it to me if there is a real difference in the "premium" product)

Looks like a very cool trip. I'm headed there next week via Rim Rocker with some vets. We got my Wildtrak, a Jeep, couple of 4Runners and a Tacoma. Hopefully we can get some good trails in when we get to Moab before heading home.
