Okay... not familiar. Only check valves I have known allow movement in on direction.
I used fuel cell vent valves. They are supposed to let the fuel cell breathe but stop fuel. I figured if they can stop fuel they could stop water. 🤷‍♂️
I'm going to take them off though and just relocate the can.

Look at some of the river crossings for Fordyce on you tube. 😬

this lil’ fellah on the CV. Pushes up against the portal box and creates a secondary barrier for the stub shaft.

Huh. I have no such weird stuff on mine, and never leaked a drop.

I have seen some where the whole truck was under water and still made it through.... Only thing above water was the intake that sat above the roof line... Does not change the fact that 45 inches is one hell of a lot of water. If there is ANY current..... you are getting pushed.....

Those are called "rollover valves". They are activated by gravity. When your racecar is upside down they stop fuel from spilling out and setting you on fire while upside down (which is the absolute most inopportune time to be on fire). They do not discern air from liquid

Really happy for you.

To quote quin when I sent him pictures of the leaks-“yeah we know about that problem. We have a fix but it only happens to people that really wheel. Send it”

It was scary.

I think we need to go back to the Anti Squat debate. I view the current issue is figuring out how to adjust the suspension moving forward. Currently a little saucy and sleep deprived so no technical support today.

https://www.crawlpedia.com/4_link_suspension.htm
put some numbers into a spreadsheet. Based on OEM SAS hard points for rear links from CAD geometry.

attached are some figures of anti-squat about rear pitch instant center. shown are 30” tires (since I think this is an oem configuration), 35s, 40s, and 40s with portals. Anti squat is positive for all configurations as expected.

Anti-squat percentages: 119 for 30s, 135 for 35s, 148 for 40s, and 166 for 40s with 4” portal offset.

4 door only.

I don’t think the RK 4 link will be different. Only the upper link axle mounts are different than oem. And I think they will have same linear projection when viewed in pitch plane.

Neither have I... But you and I have the originals.... these guys have the redesigned with the 1 ton bearings.... It seems like there were a number of issues with those and I do not think any of us with the first edition have been having any issues.....

definitely seems that way save for a bad install here and there. The braided brake lines that were too short up front and the missing UCA washer from Matt’s Offroad are the only things that come to mind

I had a lower ball joint that I did not seat properly on my LF. I saw it when I put it on the alignment rack after the install. Had i missed that I probably would have wobbled out the LF "upright" as he calls them. Just the stuff that can happen w/a installl like this...sorta like putting the vent hose in the wrong hole. I'm not claiming to be any kind of genius at this, I'm learning too. You can't blame Quinn for me leaving a ball joint loose, or putting a vent hose in the wrong hole tho...some of this stuff we gotta learn to do
