DV8 Off-Road Anyone installed Bronco Tire Guard/Tail Gate Reinforcement?Part# TCBR-01

DV8 Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Most if not all products made in China
Soft bolts that strip easily
Restocking charges
Deduct for damage that never occurred
Asked for pictures of damaged
They never provided pictures
They kept - stole my money
Wait up to 45 days for partial refund
Go elsewhere for Bronco parts
BTW I’ll be publishing more detailed experience soon

So, just came across this thread.

I have/had this installed when I had my Badlands. Solid piece, no issues with it. The only issue I had, (my fault) was when I took the bolt out of the hinge, the metal piece fell into the tailgate. Took some time to fish it out and back into place.

I ran this piece for the life of my Badlands and I had paired it with a TOR carrier. (My OEM was damaged at Ford, the backup cam stalk was missing.) I was also running 37s. Zero offset rim. The squeeze for the guard was tight, but it went around and closed.

The part was rock solid. Went on many trails no problems. Never came loose. Heck early on when I first installed, I backed into a solid object and the carrier did not budge a bit. I also had a ARB single compressor and a BroAddict tailgate table, and I did not have any flex or issues with my tailgate.

I still have the part, its laying in my garage. I had thought I would put it on my Braptor, then I found out it was incompatible. Plus the BRaptor has a good system. I guess one day I will post it up and sell it.
