Have you had a problem with the stock ones? or are you just trying to mall crawl in style?

All of the recovery points are just style - get whatever you think looks best. If you really want to impress the ladies, the bolts are what are actually carrying all the load, but no one talks about those.

No mall crawling for me😜 No problem yet, just beefed up the front with my winch plate from JCR and want an equally beefy backside

I added a second OEM recovery point, which might be lower profile than the ones you're looking at, but still I bounce the OEM recovery points off rocks fairly regularly.

Mine will drag on some stuff too - but I figure

a) it's saving my bumper from scraping, which is more expensive to fix or replace
b) it's just steel and I can rattlecan it back to looking A-OK (no rust, but I do keep them touched up)
c) I haven't bent or broken one yet, and if I do, they are OEM: easy to find

Trailer receiver hits more than anything, but I refuse to take it off (for same reasons). I pull a trailer with it like once a year. That thing has taken some abuse and is still .. fine. Somehow.

I will admit it ... I have thought about painting my stock metal recovery loops a different color.

I know the MHI owner. Warn actually appreciates the work put into those.

He tested the strength of those mounted with the bolts. It far exceeded factory bracket strength. I’ve run em for a long time, dragged em across rocks, done a ton of pulls either no issues. It’s much easier on soft shackles due to the diameter. Factory works, these are stronger. The factory bolts are plenty strong when torqued.
