I just installed my TD by my self with duck tape on the bumper and door ledge to cushion the rails. Sat it up on the handle and lifted it up and in (one shot).
I vote for option B hook and loop as well for the TPE mat.
I had only one problem when I fully extended it to tighten the bolts. When I tried to re track the deck it was hung up on the right side.
Crawled under and found the right lever was out and not clearing the inner channel. Pried it back in and no problems since. The rear door would not close so took a members idea and attached a Paracord handle and moved the hard handle to the bottom drawer (no drilling).
This has been great for loading grocery bags but the real plan is for securing ammo cans and target shooting in the desert.

Duck Tape worked well.webp

Rear deck completely out and will not release on right side.webp

Please consider shortening the length to make them compatible with your existing full size tailgate fold out table which I think needs 2" vs the 1.5" on current model (if you remove the handle). Also please redesign the handle so it doesn't add to the length. Last suggestion, keep the weight low, consider using aluminum, even plastic where it makes sense.

I'm dissapointed that the 2 door version is for the rear seats left in option. But I understand that is what the majority asked for. Guess I'll have to go with the Packhorse if I decide on the sliding tray route for mine.
We completely hear you on that! While we initially focused on a design that keeps the rear seats functional to meet the majority of current requests, we know the 'rear seat delete' crowd is a huge part of the 2-door Bronco soul.

We’re definitely keeping your feedback in the loop as we evaluate future versions or expansion plates. The Packhorse is a solid setup, but we hope to offer a Broaddict solution for the seat-delete builds down the road. Thanks for sharing your setup plans with us—it helps us know where to steer our next R&D phase!

We really value the level of detail in your suggestions—especially regarding the 2" clearance for the full-size tailgate table and the handle redesign. It’s clear you’ve put a lot of thought into how these components should work together.

To be transparent, we’ve had many internal discussions about compatibility. However, due to the high cost of new tooling and molds, we aren't able to launch a shorter version at this stage. Our current priority was to maximize the storage footprint for the majority of users, though we know that creates a tight fit for those with existing tables.

That said, your point about weight and material choice is well-taken. We are taking your feedback directly to our R&D team. We want future iterations to be more modular and 'ecosystem-friendly.' Thank you for sticking with us and pushing us to be better—it’s feedback like yours that shapes our roadmap!

IMO the handle and the cut out for the handle could both be eliminated...basically shorten the deck by 2". The handle really serves no purpose...when I release the deck to pull out I'm pulling from the corners anyways.

Agreed on the weight. I'm very happy with the product but dam it is heavy. I've pretty much doubled my cargo weight. Aluminum for the deck and tray would be welcomed.

I'm part of this 2-door rear seat delete group and look forward to this design coming out. :)

We’ve been testing several materials for the mat underneath the TrailDeck and just prototyped a new dual-layer composite felt (similar to a premium trunk liner).

Unlike TPE, this material is virtually silent and hides dirt and dust well. It features a non-slip studded backing to keep it locked in place and is easy to clean. It’s also waterproof with a sealed bottom, so nothing will seep through to your floor.

We’re curious: Do you prefer the rugged look of TPE, or is a rattle-free, low-maintenance felt liner more your style? Let us know what you think!

Will that same felt liner be available when the 2-door version comes out?
