Does anyone happen to know where the lift and door cart are made? Didn’t see anything here and can’t find any info on the website.

Thanks in advance!

From EZ4x4 in a previous post their products are manufactured in China at a factory they own and operate:

We design and engineer all of our products in-house here in Connecticut, ensuring that every product meets our high standards for quality and performance. While our manufacturing facility is located in China, we own and operate it ourselves, which allows us to maintain full control over the production process. This ensures that everything is made to our specifications, and we can guarantee top-notch quality across all of our products. By managing both the design and manufacturing, we’re able to offer the best of both worlds—innovative, high-quality products at a competitive price.

I reached out to them and got the same info! Designed in the USA but made in China ☺

Hope this helps!
Thank you, I appreciate it. I always try to buy made in USA stuff, but it’s not always possible. But based in and designed in USA, and the fact they own the production in China is close second I guess.

In any event, I ordered a complete system for door storage and roof removal from them for my 2D ‘26 on order. ☺

I totally get it! I try to do the same but it can definitely be difficult! The company is awesome and very responsive so I do think you'll love it! If you end up with any more questions feel free to reach out! The bundles they have on sale right now are insanely well priced haha definitely a good time to make the purchase!

I doubt they "own the production". They simply contract with a Chinese factory same as everyone else.

Fair point. We’re all just out here doing the best we can 🤣 at the end of the day I’m glad to have purchased it, without the hard top lift I can’t top the top off alone. And I really like driving a round topless 🤪 but I do try to buy products that are U.S.A. made so I understand the concern. They didn’t appear to be sneaky about it. When I asked they answered 🩵

Sounds like @SideTrackTap ordered one! So yay for toplessness

Hope everyone had a great holiday!

I wasn't disparaging the product. Simply pointing out the reality of getting things made in China.

The Chinese can build quality things as long as the company holds their feet to the fire. I own a Stevens (Savage) shotgun that is made in China and it is just fine.

Nice Raptor and write up! I see yours has the crank on the end. The one my wife got me in October has the crank on the end as well. Some of the videos show the crank on the side, though. Do you know if that's a very recent design change? I could have used the extra 11" of reduced depth with the side crank version.

We got the version for our 2-door, but it seems like it should work for our 4-door, too. Do you happen to know if it would or wouldn't work? If not, it seems like it could be tweaked a little to work for both since the 4-door top is smaller/lighter.

I haven't used the lift yet, but it seems decent so far. It does have that "Made in China" feel in some of the finer details like the powder coat and fasteners. I was impressed with how everything fit together, though. There wasn't a whole bunch of clearance in all the fastener holes, but they all aligned perfectly and thing mated up well. The casters are decent, too. I thought getting all of the washers sandwiched in the right place would be a PITA, but it went together surprisingly smooth. Between the video and written instructions, the correct assembly process can be figured out. My exterior packaging showed up mangled and beat to heck, but it was packaged well and the contents remained intact. UPS will have to up their package demolition game.

I also have their door alignment guide insert things. They seem to work well. I have a 2-door and the doors are larger/heavier. Being 5'-10" and having a few inches of suspension lift doesn't ease things. Even with the OEM pin and rubber edge guards, I still managed to chip the paint on the front quarter panel edge. I have only had the guides one topless season, but door replacement did seem a bit easier.

Edit: forgot to add... @EZ4X4 got me the side crank conversion kit. It's surprisingly simple parts and install. Just remove the strap, flip the crank mount 90 degrees in the vertical post, put the new bar through the strap (recess inward I believe), and attach with two nuts/bolts. Big help in my shallow garage! Outstanding customer service, A+! Thought about putting two washers under the bar so the strap isn't pinched, but I don't expect this will see a huge number of cycles.

Anyone else topless today? It's summer in NC lol
Do you prefer doors off, top off or both? I like both but my daughter prefers the doors on.
