Thought this was cool and interesting, a first year bronco with above 100k miles still going strong! Usually the saying is never buy first year vehicles.

Only issue stated was with the transfer case leaking.

Could the Braptor be as reliable as the 2.7 and 2.3? Especially since the 3.0 is technically just a 2.7 just with more power.

I have a 23 Raptor with 103K on it. I have the Whipple intercooler and tune. Hairline cracks just started, otherwise no issues. I have not done an wheeling to speak of but have driven the thing all over the country.

Oh wow that’s awesome! Did you rebuild the Fox Live Valve shocks or have them fully replaced?

I'm at 121,400 right now with my 2.7L engine. No issues with the engine at all. I definitely have cracks in my hardtop though and no rust on the frame... Love my Bronco!

3.0 is direct injection only, whereas 2.7 is direct and port. Gotta watch those intake valves with direct only!

Shocks are still stock with no issues. Hairline cracks are in the top.
The Fox shocks should be rebuilt every 50k miles btw - if you only drive on pavement, sooner if you offroad it.

With all the fussing about the hard plastic interior I prefer it over soft touch. I rented an almost new Pathfinder and there was already a tear on the console near the shift lever with white fuzz coming out. Its basically a very thin vinyl cover over padding.

Recalls has nothing to do with longevity. There is only one recall on my 22 I care about, the fuel pump. The rest are nonsense. I would take 100 of these BS recalls compared to a major engine recall like you know who. Yeah I know the 2.7L had the value issue which isn't good, but that's the only major powertrain recall I'm aware of.

I am just shy of 100k on mine. Outside basic maintenance, its been problem free. I did have the temp sensor (in the driver mirror) go bad and need replacing. It was showing 150 when its only 70 outside :)

I only have about 35k on my 21 FE. But only issue (other than the recalls haha) has been the modem unit dying (who cares) that was replaced under warranty. No cracks in the roof. No complaints from me, especially it being a first year vehicle.

My Daughter has a 2021 BB July Production date Soft Top 2.3 Engine
has 150K on it no engine issues until last week she was getting a misfire error on hard acceleration, we went ahead and had plugs and coil packs swapped out. Seemed to fix problem.

My wife has a 2022 Wild Track with 122K on it, no issues whatsoever with 2.7 engine
no cracks on hard top.

I think the Broncos with either engine are pretty reliable vehicles.

Don't rebuild until they leak. Waste of money. And I'd seriously look to replace vs rebuild. A brand new rebuild shock may leak the next week. There are no guarantees.
