It’s extremely easy to touch the front door handle, which unlocks all the doors and then open the rear.
I believe that is the driver's door only though isn't it? Having only a two door I know that unlocking the rear gate does not unlock the passenger door.

No it unlocks all. On ours anyway. 2024 mid package 4-door.
Esit: Maybe just both doors on one side? My wife always has her key in her purse so I actually I have no idea about the other side. But I do know it unlocks the back door because I frequently put stuff in the backseat before I get in..

I stand corrected... good to know.
See my edit above. Now I’m curious about the other side because that would be a safety issue if you live in the big city which I don’t..

Are you sure? I’m pretty sure, just tried the other day, but when the tailgate unlocks the other doors remain locked. I unlocked the tailgate and had it open. Needed to get in the back seat so I walked around and tried the door, it was locked. Had to tap the front door to open the rear door handle. Easy enough but a poor user experience IMO.

You’re probably correct about that, but I did not say unlocking the back gate also unlock the second row doors. After further thought I’m not sure it unlocks the other side of the vehicle when I touch the front. it’s easy to tap the front if you’re standing there ready to open the second row doors, I will standby that..

OK, y’all got me curious so I locked the bronco and then tapped the right front door handle, put my key back in the house and checked all the doors on the bronco and yes, they were all unlocked including the rear tailgate. But when I do the same thing except unlock the tailgate and then put the key away none of the front doors are unlocked when the tailgate is unlocked.

You may need to define a "nice" area..... I am currently living in one of the lowest crime areas in the nation and yet.... Some of these "rich" kids like to jocky box... Probably because their parents have taught them they can have anything they want.... That and they want to be the "bad" kid so they look cool to all their little friends.
So your low crime area is...full of crime?

I have the Lux pkg already but would seriously consider anyway if it did the rear doors as well. Don’t know why Ford did the front doors and tailgate but not rear doors.

Can I use the included front door handles on the back door and follow the instructions?
I found a work around for the rear doors. Pull the handle on the rear door first. The door obviously won't unlock, but then touch inside of the handle of the front door. It then unlocks all four doors.

It works for both sides on my '24 WildTrak.

It depends on how you have it set in the settings. On the passenger door it will unlock all doors when grabbing the handle. However, it will only unlock the driver door when grabbing that handle if you have it set that way in the settings.

He’s referring to the back doors on a four-door, not the rear gate. And Mid package is the same.
Yes, on my '25 HE, touching either front door button unlocks all doors ... touching it again locks the vehicle. The button on the rear gate handle locks/unlocks that door only.

I just know that when I open the back to put things in, my wife can not open the passenger door until I walk to her side or I open the driver door.

Passenger side is her side on this Bronco because she refuses to drive it.... It is too tall for her. When we are in her car she drives unless it is long distance which she does not like and well... I like driving.

You are trying to make this an argument.... Come on man you know what I am talking about. I do not care where you live these days... no matter how "nice" it is.... there is good reason to lock doors. And yes I grew up at a time no one locked much of anything. I am old and I have slowly watched it all change.
