If your 2021+ Ford Bronco didn’t come with enhanced security or remote start, this is one of those upgrades that adds both everyday convenience and real peace of mind. Infotainment offers a factory OEM Perimeter Plus Security System, and it can be added as a clean, fully integrated upgrade, no aftermarket alarm issues, no extra remotes, and no cutting into factory wiring.

What This Upgrade Does

This system combines vehicle security + remote start into one OEM package that works seamlessly with your Bronco.

Factory Anti-Theft Protection
Includes a 2-stage shock sensor:
  • Light impact → warning chirp
  • Heavy impact → full alarm
Helps protect against break-ins and tampering without being overly sensitive.

Remote Start Convenience

Start your Bronco remotely from up to ~300 feet away, making it easy to:
  • Cool down the cabin in the summer
  • Warm it up in colder weather
  • Get in and go without waiting
The system also uses parking light confirmation, so you know the vehicle is running.

Installation Overview
Installation is rated a 2 out of 5, making it a straightforward upgrade for most DIYers.

If you’re looking for an upgrade that you’ll actually use daily, this is a solid one.
Between the added security protection and the remote start convenience, it’s a simple OEM upgrade that makes the Bronco feel more complete.

If your bronco already has remote start with the fob and app does this disable it ? Or change the way you use the remote to start it

No, won’t impact factory Remote, App or FOB. Within the kit is a little shunt to connect to 2 pins… that enables remote start on the new module… just leave that shunt off. Then all you’re upgrading is the alarm’s perimeter shock sensor.

Added it to my ‘24 F450 Limited and ‘25 BRaptor. Both work great if door or hood is thumped or jarred.

Position so you can reach and adjust the sensitivity of the shock sensor. You don’t want it so light that it goes off too easily.

I had the dealership install the security system before I picked up my 2022 Big Bend in 2022, for $250.

There is a perfect place to mount the Alarm. There is a gap between the airbox any the dash frame it will slide right in there and it is a snug fit. It provides easy access to the adjustment knob through the glove box.

I would love to have a remote start, but I find alarm system really annoying. Can you set the sensitivity to off?

I don’t recall an Off, although you can turn sensitivity down to where it takes a pretty good thump to set it off. This module compliments and integrates with existing alarm system, and that continues as original.

The add on modual is a shock sensor so if you isolate it from contact with the car I am sure that really would limit its ability to detect anything. Like wrap it in bubble wrap and make sure it's not touching the body of the car.

Is there a way to arm the regular alarm, but not the perimeter plus with the fob?

Not that I’ve seen… once connected they’re an integrated system. The lock on the Fob turns full system on.
