Are the individual switches swappable into different physical slots? Been trying to figure this out without ig turning in to some big project.

To be clear, I know you can certainly rewire them, in multiple locations, that's not what I am asking.

OP, @RustysBronco ?? Any idea?

bad news for 2025 Base owners....

sadly it's just not possible in a 2025 Base!
Ford Bronco Aux Upfitter Overhead Switches installed! - DIY writeup instructions & photos IMG_0266
the bottom line is the A pillar harness (vehicle side) doesn't have the pins to support the upfitters signal wires.

So...you can replace the fuse box, you can get a new harness and you can get the Upfitter console and you'll be out of luck b/c of that.

I spent >1000 to make this discovery.

On a 21-24 it's all good, but they made changes when they brought back the base for 2025.

If anyone is looking to buy the above parts, please let me know. Would be great to recoup some of the $

please add to the sticky if possible.

I installed the OEM upfitter switch kit from Middleton Motorsports on my 2025 OBX with the LUX package.

When ordering the kit, I must have over looked the fact that it was only for 2021 - 2024 model years. When attempting to install the kit I ran into the issue with the plug that goes into the sensor located on the windshield.

I called Middleton Motorsports about the issue who then informed me that the kit was only for 2021 - 2024 models. They explained that the fuse box and harness were different with the 2025 models.

They looked up the correct part numbers for the fuse box and wiring harness and confirmed that they had them in stock. They sent them to me free of charge and also provided a return label for the fuse box and harness that wouldn't work.

After a few days they were delivered and installed. I did not run into any further issues. So far I have wired up my ditch lights (AUX 3), gmrs radio (AUX 6), and confirmed that they work.

I want to give a shout out to Middleton Motorsports outstanding customer service. They really went above and beyond.

Add another to the list of successful switch installations. Completed last week on my 2023 2door obx. Thanks for all of the work and encouragement. I knew it was coming and still jumped reattaching to battery ground lead.

For anyone like me that did not to the FDRS portion of the install. You can use Forscan.

  1. Connect to the Truck: Plug your OBD-II adapter into your laptop and the OBD-II port, turn the Bronco's ignition to ON (Engine Off), and connect via FORScan.
  2. Back up your data: Before changing anything, go to the Configuration and Programming tab (the microchip icon), select BCM_C (As-Built format), run it, and click Save All to create a backup file. [1, 2]
  3. Force a Rewrite: While still in the BCM_C (As-Built) screen, do not change any numbers. Simply look at the bottom of the screen and click Restore All (this loads your current data profile back into the buffer). Next, click Write All.
    • Why this works: Forcing FORScan to physically re-write the blocks blocks forces a digital "checksum" recalculation. It tricks the module into believing the initial programming sequence has officially concluded. [1]
  4. Perform a Module Reset: Go to the Service Functions tab (the wrench icon), find BCM_C Module Reset, and run it. You will hear the under-hood fuse box click as it reboots. [1]
  5. Clear the Code: Go to the DTC tab, click Clear DTCs, and turn the ignition off.
