As a follow up to my previous thread HERE I was looking for a way to raise the rear view mirror as much as possible.

Well I found one, it's cheap and easy. Just how I like my...

This Billet Alum Rear View Mirror Riser is for marketed for a Toyota Yaris but some digging said folks have use it on Fords, so I gave it a shot an it works perfectly. Just remove the mirror with a torx bit, add the wedge and snug it down (Allen key), reinstall the mirror and adjust to your liking. It will hit the overhead console before you run out of upward adjustment.

Before, one finger gap:

No gap.

This is my perspective, at 6'6". I can just hardly start to see the mirco dots on the glass under the mirror, perfect. Gained about 0.5-0.75" field of vision under the mirror.

Great find!
At 6’8”, I totally understand your frustration. So many vehicles I’ve just adapted to over the years.

Just ordered one… Thanks!

Anyone with a Wolfbox try this? Does it interfere with the forward facing camera?

Just ordered. Not sure if I have defective visors but whenever I put either side’s visor down, they hit the sides of the rear view mirror. I switched it out months ago for a smaller mirror, so hoping this might help and I can reinstall the original. Worth a shot.

I can’t figure out the visor thing. We didn’t have the visors hit the mirror at first—went months and never noticed an issue. Then it seemed both my wife and I noticed the driver’s side visor would just hit the mirror when folded down, even though we each use a different mirror position. Then, about a year or so later, it stopped, with no apparent change on our end. 😆 But maybe we just started using a slightly different seat position that made a little difference. Hard to say, since there’s no seat memory. 🙁

The mirror has two swivel joints (ball joint)... One next to the window and one next to the mirror... You can move the mirror left and right and align it to the center. clears both visors but just barely.

Somebody order one and report back, I don’t wanna be the first because it says it’s for a Toyota Yaris.
