Finally installed my Cobb Intercooler and started to install my Lobo hidden winch skid plate and IAG engine skid with oil access. For the Cobb Intercooler I replaced the factor brackets with the Lobo brackets which both hold the intercooler and the Lobo plate. I also compared my factor OEM engine skid (which is pretty darned thin) to the IAG and all the holes seem to line up. So after a beer, some ibuprofen, maybe a day or two, I will install the IAG and Lobo plates without the winch first, just to make sure everything fits, then I will add the winch. My cheap motorcycle adjustable stand works great for raising/lowering heavy things.

She can't stand the ducks across wrangler dashboards. Actually got rid of her diesel rubicon just because of the ducks and the wave. Found this on Etsy, made it subtle so she won't tell me to take it off. Been on a month, hasn't seen it yet

Installed the Hot Headliner's Bestop Sunrider Liner unit. This is supposed to assist with reducing road and wind noise while keeping the cabin cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter if using year round.
The installation was pretty straightforward, however I did have some difficulty with placement on the velcro fittings as the unit is quite short and I could not get the sunrider closed after the initial installation. I had to adjust the placement on the velcro several times to get it to fit correctly.
Definitely less noise when driving in town and at some hwy speeds. WIth open hwy at 70mph+ it still gets noisy in the cabin, but not enough that I can't carry on a conversation or talk on the phone.

installed my DIY antenna delete kit. 2025 badlands has a male stainless threaded stud.

I've turned the AM/FM radio on once to check that it worked, 'never listen to it.
I got tired of having the antenna being beaten around by shrubs and on the highway, especially in headwinds.

This can easily be "unscrewed" and the antenna put back on as needed.
I could paint the thing black.

An inch of girls' costume pink neckless tube, with the original neckless neon connector plug. Sealed the plug with some old Passion Red nail polish.
Hey, it's what I found lying around the garage that fit, is light weight, and protects the stud threads.

What's next for me, pink D-shackles on the front? only if I remove some body armor. hahaha...

Went and installed my rukRac to get ready for our 5000+ mile trip starting next week. Should help carry plenty of our gear and luggage. I will say the customer service was top notch as this is their 10th edition that hasn’t been released yet but was able to get the first one built because my trip is happening before the full release.

I installed my IAG skid plate with oil access on my 2026 Badlands 4-dr 2.3L manual great and it is way thicker/stronger than the OEM plate it replaces. Plus a portion of the plate can be removed by removing one bolt for oil access.

Couple things today. First a quick detail:

• Interior detail - Chemical Guys interior cleaner/protectant
• Clean the Moab dust out of lots of things -- molle pouches, trim seams, etc.
• Clean/dress door seals (CG VRP)
• Exterior hand wash/minor claying
• Undercarriage spray with my pressure washer + attachment.
• Meguiar's Ultimate wax - paint and wheels
• Rainx on all glass
• CG VRP for tires (mostly for the spare so it's nice and shiny, hah)

Also finally got my overhead molle panel (mostly) installed and test fit the control unit for my Yaesu Amateur radio.

Saw a couple of places here in Chennai (exact opposite side of the rock from Phoenix) that would be wheelable. Problem is you'd need to drive on-road to get to them - something I'd never do here in India!

I talk to the wife and kid every day, so mostly missing the Bronco!

New wheels and tires off a '25 Badlands. Unfortunately, the TPMS sensors are dead. $300 for new ones, installed with a 6 year warranty.

I found the tires on Marketplace, guy drove his truck from the dealer to his "guy" where they lifted it and bolted on 37's. They were lyingin the back of a liquor store fo two years, gathering dust. I am curious about the sensors dying after that short of time but I am getting the new ones anyway since Ford changed frequencies between '23 and '25 so they wouldn't have worked anyway.

Removed the not even 2 years old Eibach pro truck 2.0 coilovers that were/are junk at under 20k miles. Installed a set of pro comp 2.5” coilovers. At least when the Pro Comp’s leak I can rebuild them and not have to throw away a $2000 set if coilivers. I’m going to give it a couple weeks to settle then adjust for stance. Yes the undercarriage is filthy it’s my wife’s daily and her responsibility to keep it clean
