Installed my $38 Bimini top thanks to Amazon. Love it and works perfect. The front corner tie downs aren’t a perfect spot to make it flat, but I can live with it. I may be able to make it work re-arranging some tie downs.

Took a drive. This is in the Pike National Forest looking southeast. The water is Cheesman Reservoir, owned by Denver water. No access but the South Platte above and below are Gold Medal Trout waters. In the far distance above the lake is Pikes Peak and the big hump on the left is Thunder Butte at 9836', the highest point in Douglas County.

In June of 2002, a nut started a fire that burned for a month and totaled 138,000 acres, one of the largest in Colorado. The area is still trying to recover but there isn't much soil, just gravel and mineral dirt with almost no organic matter. There’s not much there to hold water or give young trees a decent start, so some of these hillsides may stay bare for a century or more.

My Bronco got a new friend! My sis joined the club this weekend... signed a deal for this '26 Big Bend mid in Space White. She's had older Bronco's before, and ever since I got mine, she has wanted a new one... She is over-the-moon happy!

Took the Bestop Sunrider Liner off and reinstalled it for a better more uniform fit. The key is to get the front section square and just on the velcro; The rest of the unit falls into place.

Took my dawg (aka my cat Beerus) to the vet. He had lost some weight and was acting funny. Not only was this his first time actually jumping around in my Bronco but we also got some good news for my boy in that he is healthy and just needs a small diet change! Now that he has been on the new diet he is back to his curious self and has put on some good weight.

Installed my new tube doors yesterday, removed the tops and stored them in my homemade storage cart, very pleased with the outcome. Next few days the weather is going to be sunny and hot, can't wait to take my wife out for lunch later and enjoy the open air.

Thanks to Ford for giving a free year of onX we took Buck out to the middle of nowhere SD on some trails and found a spot to cook up some burgers for lunch. Nothing to technical just some mud and smaller rocks.

CRUNCH!

Small cement/plastic pole in a parking lot below my line of sight. Pulled out of spot and crunch - was barely moving. Ordered a new fender and flare, door, lower hinge and wiper fluid tank. Will be painting the entire side. While at it, will be painting the flares (white) as well.
