Howdy. Why you guys running E rated? I saw they now have C rated RT Pros in the 35s.
Damn, figures. While I have zero issues with the ride and handling - best I’m getting is 17.5 MPG (average 15.5). I was getting 20+ on good days with the C rated AT3 and averaged 18.5.

I wonder what’s the weight difference. Gonna check them out. Probably less expensive per tire too?

Ah, it’s only available in C rated for the 12.5”. Those have been around. Nothing new. I’m running the 11.5” since they are for 7.5-10” wheels. One day maybe I’ll get rid of the steelies, but not likely.

The E rated 11.5 and C rated 12.5 are both 66 lbs and the E rated 12.5 are 69.

just added 35x11.5 r/t pros; no trail time yet. Sparse choices for 11.5” E-rated. Maxis Razr AT’s were rock collectors; may use for winter tires.

Man, that pizza cutter is super tempting. I have the Razr M/T's, which are not rock throwers and I've been pretty happy with, but these are 7lbs lighter and just a "true" 35" tire (34,8"). Hopefully it'll be a while before I need new tires, but will hopefully remember these when I do. the 38x11.5's are also tempting, wondering if they'd fit with a reasonable amount of lift and no cutting of the crash bar mount.

Coming from 35x12.5 on 0 offset:

The 38x11.5 required a 1" body lift on top of what I already had for the 35s (I installed a 3/4" lift, but needed another 1/4" in the rear to clear some rubbing which I did with a coil over top hat.). I did cut the crash bars - not sure if it was necessary but looks like it would be.

The front liner relocation that came with JKS was helpful - that was required, but you don't necessarily need the JKS kit to just pull that plastic spacer out and re-ziptie the liner back up

Don't you have an RC lift though? I was thinking about the Pro-Comp or 6100s once I'm ready, set as low as I can get away with it, but not sure how that compares.

Used to but running Pro Comps now. Rears are at min (+1/4” tophat). Fronts are up about 3/8 to compensate for winch weight and put rake at about 1”

Ford Bronco Toyo Open Country RT Pro? Anyone take the plunge or thinking about it? imag

Nice! And you still needed the body lift? How much lift are you getting from the Pro-Comps?
I run the pro comp as low as I can get away with - the rear is at min, the front just off min to level out the winch weight. Ends up being about 3” of lift over non-SAS stock (about 1.5” over SAS)

I could have adjusted them for lift easily - you can get something like 6” of lift out of them if you want - but you would still have issues with bottoming out at full compression since it would just be riding higher on the spring and not actual additional headroom.

You could do it all in tophat spacers too - 1” on that isn’t terrible, but that affects CV and driveshaft angles, whereas body lift doesn’t.

Anyone try Hankook Dynapro AT tires as replacements for territory RT’s?

Biggest downside I can see is the 77 pounds of weight (versus 65 for the BFG)
I don't have the number or thread memorized but my factory KO2 were significantly heavier than their factory quoted weight.

I just saw a set of these the other day on a Tacoma - first time I had noticed them. They looked like every other AT out there. Not on my truck so can’t comment on anything else

Likely the 15 lbs of counterweights needed for balancing

(i kid)

🤣. You should see the massive, edge to edge "platters" of weights on my MTBBs...

If I was more picky I would undo the bead locks and rotate the tire in the rim, reseat and rebalance.
