Whats up everyone. So last night while driving around in the snow I noticed a coolant burning smell coming from the Bronco. Pulled over and took a look around and didn't see anything obvious. Smell basically went away. I was driving in deep snow and was switching between 4h and 4L depending on conditions. Today as I left work I got stuck at the end of the driveway in about 4+ft of snow. A bit of rocking back and forth in 4L and she came out but I got the smell again and this time smoke from the passenger side engine bay. I popped the hood and the smoke was coming from antifreeze dripping onto the hot turbo. I only saw one drop hit the turbo and couldn't find where it came from. In the pics the black housing which I'm thinking is the EGR valve? Had coolant on it and some of the heater hoses were a little wet with coolant but nothing dripping. I've got an appointment on Wednesday at Ford for an unrelated issue but figured I'd see what you guys think. 2025 2.3 Badlands 7mt and seems to only happen or become noticeable when I'm working the motor harder then usual. No overheating and gauge is steady.

Bummer, definitely looks like some coolant leaking out. I had to make a few adjustments to my coolant lines with the help of zip ties. Some of them were rubbing up against sharp metal ends, etc. Definitely could have been better from the factory.

I would doubt it on a newer vehicle but you never know, see link from what I just posted.

My Bronco is currently at Ford for the issue. They pressured tested the truck and found the leak. Will report back with what actually went wrong.
