I came from a 2019 BMW X3. There’s just no comparison. Our 2022 badlands Sasquatch was delivered as a soft top. Very noisy. We ultimately put an MIC hardtop on it. A big improvement, but still nowhere near as quiet the BMW. We just finished a nearly 10k mile cross country trip. My wife is a bit hard of hearing. I had to talk very loudly for her to hear me. Is what it is.

IMHO, you’re asking the wrong group. We’re enthusiasts who tolerate the noise and come to not even notice it. As others have said, if cabin noise levels are important to you, look for something else.

We love our bronco, noise, cracking hardtop and all.

Good luck.
Amen

Here in East TN there is an abundance of forest roads to choose from...but I'll leave the "awesome" to you guys that have the more capable rigs and more experience than I have. :like:

Go to the TN Off-Roadeo and you’ll get hooked.

2025 Badlands here.... lots of people have stopped me to check it out.... I ALWAYS tell them if you like the quiet ride of your car/truck, and if it's important to you... don't get a Bronco. On the highway over 70mph or on a windy day it is noisy. Period. It's mostly wind noise from pushing a brick down the highway.
That said, otherwise I really like it, and I have gotten used to it. If the noise is bothering you now, it probably ain't gonna get better after you buy it...

I had given that some thought...and I don't live very far from the one here in East TN. And being hooked is one of my biggest fears...if I get another obsession the wife might very well divorce me. :cwl:

Let's just say at 70 MPH you can't carry on a conversation and at in town speeds it's loud enough for me to wonder if I can live with it. I'd be a bit embarrassed if someone jumped into this 70,000 vehicle as I'd feel compelled to tell them it's just an off road vehicle but I'm guessing that's exactly what it is. I'd love to go play on the back roads but getting there is what worries me.
What vehicle(s) have you driven in the past or are you currently driving? It sounds like you're used to the hyper-insulated and dead cabin feel of a luxury German vehicle or some sort of electric car.

It's perfectly easy to carry on a conversation in any Bronco trim. You can easily even carry on a conversation with the doors off. I did it this morning. 45-60mph on the backroads. Normal speaking voices.

I traded in my 2021 Big Bend for a 2026 Badlands Sasquatch, and I can't believe how much quieter it is than the 2021. It's all relative. I can listen to the radio at highway speeds in the new Bronco :)
