Guys,
I want a Bronco so bad. I've been test driving several different Badlands (non Sasquatch) and I'm not sure I can live with the tire noise on this vehicle. Do all full size 4 door Broncos make this much tire noise?

TIA
Dude, buy a Tesla if you want a quiet ride. A bronco is going to make all kinds of noises while driving you just get used to it. Its part of the fun of owning an offroad vehicle.

Yep I get it that Broncos are loud. I did test drive an Outerbanks and it was much quieter so not all of them are as loud as the others. It depends on what you want to use it for. Thanks for all the replies.

From experience, I notice Broncos with eth MIC top are a good deal louder the with the MOD top.

Can Opener... 4D tech.
I really wish that was cheaper. $350 is a bit steep for just camera access at any speed. Yeah, I get that it unlocks nav entry, but my passenger just presses the "I'm a passenger" button. Now, if they could override the swaybar reconnect, or allow setting a higher speed, that would probably get me to buy. Even just 30mph would be great.

Fully understand... and you make some good points...

I do find that the sway bar disconnect though only reconnects at 20 mph and then disconnects again if I drop below 20 without doing a thing... It disconnects and reconnects all on it's own without any input from me.

I do not know if that is from Ford or if it is because of the Can Opener.... It just does it. I did not notice until after I installed the Can Opener hence the question as to what is implementing that.

Yes, that is the default swaybar connect/disconnect behavior. I just find that I run rutty roads faster than 20 but like the way the disconnected swaybar smooths things out. Would like to keep it disconnected at a higher speed.

The Bronco is loud as sh!t and IMO it's more wind noise from the hardtop than it is tire noise (I actually think they're very quiet for 35s).

I would trade the removeable top for a fixed roof and its NVH benefits in a heartbeat if that was an option... maybe the Jimmy when it returns? Everything else about the vehicle I love, but the highway noise is embarrassing.

Exactly! My wife’s OBX is pretty quiet. She came from a Highlander and she admitted that the bronco has more wind noise but it’s not horrible. She loves it. She absolutely thinks my Wildtrak is too loud with the aggressive tread Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires. She can’t stand the tire whine but she’s ok with some wind noise. As usual in these type threads on here, you’ll get some good advice mixed in with all the fanboy “go drive a Mercedes you pansy” responses.

You might be able to add some sound deadening material
