If this recall isn't showing in my app, is it safe to assume I’m in the clear? 2026 base with a January blend date. Just plugged my vin into fords recall checker and nothing came up.

^ Same - I received a CARFAX Car Care email a few hours ago. I guess it's time to schedule a visit to the Dealer and they can do the seat bolts while they are at it.

My daughter has a friend whose Jeep went up in flames just sitting. Known issue, it turns out.
On the JKs it was something to do with the heated mirrors. On the JL it's something to do with the power steering pump wiring connector.

They'll all burn your house down these days, Broncos included.

My local dealer gave me the option ,which I took, for their mobile maintenance technician come to my home and complete the seat bolt recall. I am hoping they can do the same with this harness recall.

Seeing as you are out of the 3yr/36k factory warranty, then additional labor approved for removing accessories is at most a half hour. Do you trust the tech to remove and install the accessory within a half hour? If it takes longer, then that will be on your dime.

See my earlier post with the screenshot of the approved service labor for accessories.
I don't trust the tech to add the wire loom to be honest. But yeah if I'm gonna let them do anything for this one, I'm probably better off taking it out myself before I go in.

I would recommend that others follow your instinct. At least you can take your time in removing it properly without being "on the clock". Having the service tech "on the clock" beyond the half hour might get expensive.

If anyone does leave their compressor in for the recall I'd be interested in hear what their experience is.
