Hey folks. With the crazy cold and icy streets I'm looking at recovery kits. I've been looking at the Rhino kinetic rope products and soft shackles. Looking for recommendations on brands and what specs you look for.
Note, If I had to do it over, I would have left the kick panels stock and replaced just the dash speakers with Polk db402s ($50) and the center channel with the PRV audio 4" midrange ($19). I spent far more money on the front and frankly it was a waste. So, all of this can be done for less...
This is an FYI... I stumbled upon this researching some audio options. Some interesting stuff including door speaker mounts, and roll bar options.

I bought a Curt tow hitch from Amazon. Tried to bolt it on the rear bumper today. The leftmost hole on the bumper does not seem aligned with the other three holes (slightly higher). The Curt hitch slots seem to be level across. It's not a huge difference, but the bolt simply will not go...
OK, I think many of us realize that Motorbiscuit is pretty low rent automotive journalism. The TFL video is just a perspective, and not the in depth analysis that TFL usually provides.
Critique:
They headline an article about the Base model with a photo of a Sasquatch
When describing the...

They have been working on a Bronco version of their Pathfinder Adventure hard top. They have a version of this for Jeep that has a sliding sunroof. It looks really cool!
For those of us looking to get our builds/ drop from Wildtrack:
Have an option to order dual tops with the understanding that Ford will deliver the soft top with vehicle and the MIC later (let's say by Q1 2024 at the latest). When Ford reopens the 2023 order banks, it would then warn people...
The recent news (at least what we know now) on the Wildtrak situation has me thinking. To qualify for the $2500 credit, a Non-Sasquatch Badlands 4-door with the soft top and the High package gets me as close as I can to my WT order.
I drove stick in high school and have borrowed stick-shift...
I have seen a couple Broncos around town where the owner upsized the wheels/tires but not the spare. Not only does this look comically stupid, but probably isn't safe to use as a spare.
Probably no surprise to people. Anecdotal evidence, FWIW:
I ordered a loaded WT in October 2021 from a small dealer in the suburbs of Richmond, VA. Nice folks with great word of mouth reputation. FYI, not an early reservation - June 2021. My salesman said that my build was his highest end...
I'm one of the (many) Wildrak orders waiting for a build date. Small dealer, most of the "sins". For some reason, I didn't realize that order lockdowns included paint color. Does anyone have intel on whether Ford will allow unfulfilled orders to make minor changes?
Also, given Ford's...
The article teaser is the RAM. If you scroll down to the section on Ford, the Ranger reliability went from 1/5 in the first model year to 4/5 in 2020. Silver linings for us kicked into 2022MY. It seems that Ford learns from its mistakes...
Dear Santa,
I hope you and your busy elves at the Michigan Assembly Plant are doing well. On behalf of all the boys and girls at Bronco6g, I wish you a Merry Christmas!
P.S. I have been very good this year. If I get a scheduling notice this week, I promise to take very good care of my Wildtrak...
I have always loved the Bronco, but Toyota needs to bring back the FJ. It's a different 4x4, but I still love it. (Same for the H3, Ram Charger, and K Blazer.)

I like the look and design of these. They currently make them for Rangers, so I would guess that a Bronco version wouldn't be a huge modification. Some of their kits include shallow LEDs that mount on the pinch weld to illuminate the steps at night...
