You probably won't find many examples of great Bronco leases at the following website, but I always suggest my friends use leasehackr.com when researching a new lease.
Cold start and idle will sound great from most all the aftermarket exhausts. Most all of them will also make the less-liked raspy V6 sound at WoT. Lethal performance has videos for idle and WoT for most all the popular exhausts out there. It’s really going to come down to your subjective...
Totally different from the JKS kit. The Metal Cloak kit tucks in the fender liner and does nothing to address the front crash bar/body mount that the JKS kit addresses. If anything, they are complimentary products and not competing products.
Do you know if the preload is the same for both driver's and passenger's rear coilovers? Mine was sitting higher on the passenger side rear after installing Fox coilovers. I ended up adding preload to the driver's rear to equal out the rear height. I believe that threw off my thrust angle a...
My rear differential caused cupping when it needed to be rebuilt. However, yours might be cupping from all the bouncing. Try a track bar relocation bracket to see if it helps the bump steer. You may need to get a new tire for that one that won’t balance…or just use that as a spare and just do 4...
In my unprofessional opinion, a relocation bracket will help you. Also, in my unprofessional opinion and personal experience, maintaining some rake helps with the bump steer/shimmying. Since lifting my Bronco and adding a relocation bracket, I ended up raising the rear just a tad more than what...
I had added Sport mode through Forscan and was looking forward to the better throttle response. Unfortunately, I have the AWE exhaust, which sounds great in Normal and Eco mode. However, Sport mode likes to be in the RPM range where the AWE exhaust is most annoyingly loud.
While you won't get high water pressure from it, you can get any of the cheap camping shower hoses from Amazon. These are usually a hand held sprayer with hose and a small pump at the end that you drop into a bucket of water. You can even find more expensive self-contained units that include a...
After reading the post, it did not seem he was calling Mike an "armchair engineer"...rather, it seemed like he was implying there are a lot of them on this forum.
While I wish it wasn't normal, the MIC top has exhibited this trait since the release of the 6th gen Bronco. Some dealers may get you a new top, but chances are the replacement will also show it as well. The painted MOD tops are the only way I would option a hardtop Bronco/BRaptor going forward.
Throw the failed shocks back at home and take it to the dealer. It won't recover what you already spent, but at least you can get a new factory coilover and sell it.
Rubbing the crash bar mounts or the fenders/liners? A more aggressive sidewall with more "squared" shoulders, along with the slight lift sucking in the tires a bit more, could be stacking your clearance tolerances.
As others said, you won't need aftermarket UCA's with the lift amount you are shooting for. With regards to the Fox 2.5's, I gained just under 2 inches up front and just under 1 inch in the rear, over SAS. I have a First Edition so it's on the heavier side, like your Badlands. Mine are also...
