I remember someone posting a pic of the Toyo 13.5 next to the 12.5 width on another forum one time, it looked like a 38 next to a 37. Id say making that tire fit stock height is going to be way different than other 37s. I ran a 37-12.5 on mine stock and with a level kit for 4 years now ...
I have had mine on -Stock form for about 3 weeks now, the front doesnt feel that far off, the rears seem over sprung to me, a little jarring over speed bumps. I will see how they do off road and wait to change the rear springs. Mine wound up pretty level front to rear, I started a little...
Yeah, I would think you would be able to make them out of tube, similar to aftermarket control arms for muscle cars. I would believe the boxing - fabricated method is a bunch more time and welding. Polyurethane bushing at the cam mounts, ball joint at the spindle.
Usually Wheel in 4 Lo or 4 Hi and manually turn lockers on and off. Sometimes you want a lazy throttle as apposed to sport mode on obstacles. I do know if your in the sand and trying to go fast, make sure you turn off traction control, hold down button until graph goes all the way across...
Just an Update. I just swapped out my 6100s for these. Only have a few days on them, but like them so far. The fronts feel pretty good, the rear may be a little stiff, once i get them off road and flex them -break them in a little more I will be able to tell better.
Before I Started I...
Just saw this thread brought back up. Just an update, my passenger side housing is still doing great. Bunch of miles and off road trails in the last few years.
Awesome Job. I was gonna ask What CV shafts you have.... Sometimes you gotta bump it. LOL 3 wheels off the ground at once is a feat. Sierra Bronco have their stuff lined out, love seeing what its capable of.
I had a similar experience at Trail Hero in 2022, my first time going to sand...
Awesome Thread. Great Info. I think Im going to swap out my 6100s to these, find the 6100s way to stiff. Debating on trying these stock, going down to lowest pre-load and see where they sit. I am on the lowest clip on my 6100s with a Zone 1" level on the front now. I like the lowest CG...
Ive been running 37s on mine ( stock Sasquatch) since 2022. I ran them with stock yellow shocks, and now with Bilstien 6100 on lowest clip ( stock height) and a zone 1" level in the front.
I had Maxxis Razr A/T 37-12.50 17 (which measure a little smaller in a 37), Now Have Milestar Patagonia...
Any time you add UN-sprung weight such as a heavier tire, it is going to tax the shocks/springs in certain situations. You probably wont notice it as much on highway or slower rock crawling situations, but in faster whoops and sand, the shock will struggle to keep up. This is more so when it...
Just to be clear, you would need a tuner(tune) and some alterations to the fuel system to run E-85 from the pump in any blend configuration, no? I know with performance cars running it out here in AZ they need a tune and in newer cars a booster for the pump to make up the needed volume in...
