I use Sport on 2H because of the extra load that the front tires get in 4A. Also, I can feel more vibration (and noise) from the drivetrain when on 4A, especially over 40MPH.
I use Sport mode mostly on mountain roads for the improved throttle response and engine braking when going downhill. I...
I went ahead and got a Kicker Key 500 and a Kicker 12 inch down firing sub off Crutchfield. The audio store I went only had 0 gauge wiring kits in stock (overkill for this application). The cabling was pretty straight forward thanks to the info in this thread. The 0 gauge wire comes to a fused...
I just did this change in my 2.7L Lux OBX in preparations to my subwoofer installation and I can confirm that the fake engine noise is gone. I was surprised on how quiet it is under acceleration, even in normal mode! Also, no audible change between normal and sport mode… awesome! I didn’t use...
I love the two-tone look the Braptor bumper brings to the front. I don't mind painting the metal tow hooks of the factory mod bumper (even the skidplate) for a similar look, I only need the silver plastic trim. Has anyone tried "undressing" the Rraptor bumper of its silver cladding and adding it...
I always get an alignment in a shop that offer it with a 1 year or six month warranty for this reason.
I have the alignment re-checked 2 or 3 months later to give things a chance to settle in. Especially after doing suspension work or related mods.
Ah. Nice. I see that Sandstone/Black is the only option for an Lux EG Wiltrack. I still can't fathom how Lux EG OBXs got Navy blue/Gray. I should've gone with Roast/Black instead... or spend $3k on Katskins.
I got a brand-new set of the triple pair Oracle fogs for the mod bumper with white
LED modules. I would like to swap one of the three pairs from white to either yellow or amber. I bet that at lease someone wants to do the opposite for street use.
Oracle sells replacement modules in...
Waoooo that looks good. I haven't washed mine in more than 3 months, and this reminds me of what EG really looks like! What color is the interior, sandstone and black?
The fogs have a 3 to 1 plug built in. You will have to cut out one or better yet, find a plug that fits on the fog side and leave one unplugged.
Besides that, the easiest would be to run the two positive wires from the aux switches over to the drivers side fog and then run a jumper to the...
I test drove a two-year-old Jeep Wrangler Sport with 40,000 miles and it felt HORRIBLE! Then I test drove a SAS Bronco and drove it off the lot.
I never test drove a new Jeep comparable to a SAS Bronco like a Rubicon or HighTide, however. Felt like too much money for almost no tech or creature...
Looks good, luxurious even. I would've placed the BRONCO lettering flat above the camera bump.
Way better than the Boomerang one that is completely flat:
I considered the painted one but ended up getting the soft one.
I use Mud/Ruts for everything and switch lockers and 4H/4L depending on the terrain or speed. The reason behind this is to be able to use the cameras on the screen while maneuvering.
I use Sand in sand and tried Baja in a long sandy road but the shift points are ridiculous. I ended up using...
Yep. Everyone should get a TP40 bit for their onboard tool bag. Ford included TP30 and TP50 for the top, but the bolts for the Mod bumper and some interior bits are TP40.
I keep a cheap toolkit that I got at PepBoys, it has been very useful, albeit for small things.
My Bronco has the B&O. It's Ok at best. The OEM sub is the worst component in the system. I still want some louder, cleaner bass, but the B&O complicates things with the inclusion of the DSP and its internal crossovers.
I haven't made any changes to the system because it has B&O. If it didn't...
