Doing a complete clean an detail on the Bronco from setup to everything back in the shop will take me right around one hour to do it right and have it like new. Same time it takes me to wash the superduty. For being a smaller rig the Bronco has a bunch of areas that really like to hold debris...
Glass places around us repair them for $50. Cheaper than new glass. The sooner they are repaired the better. Ours got a big dinger driving home from the dealership at 91 miles on odometer. Oncoming semi kicked up a rock.
I also carry a glass repair kit that I've only used on a Corolla. It was...
This is the biggest gripe we have about the Bronco. Wife has a 2023. We are in the habit of thumbing the door while pulling the handle so the window comes down. It did not do any good though last weekend in the snow ice. Stupid window would not go down. Even after removing the snow prior to...
First rock chip needing repair at 91 miles driving home from dealership from an oncoming semi. Multiple chips since then at only 5500 miles on the odometer. Colorado roads are not nice to windshields!
I did some searching online and could not find an answer to whether or not the spare had a TPMS installed from factory. The short answer is yes, at least on a 2023. Dealer tried to up-sale a TPMS for the spare during a tire rotation. It is not needed...
Key fob goes in an RFID pouch and hidden inside when going places the key can get lost. Key pad works great when you dont have cell service like fishing, hunting, hiking spots. Not everyone uses these vehicles where there is phone service........
The Ford app wont work on the pickup truck...
Thats great they actually caught the dirtbags. Sadly they will be replaced in no time at all. Probably not even cause a hiccup in the grand scheme of things.
These punks are just the ones out getting the vehicles. The operation is much bigger.
Yeah, that sucks. Our HPR 4 door did the same thing. I got a paint touch up kit and fixed it. It came from factory like that. At least I assume it did. Fixed it a week after owning. Said it before Ill say it again: the paint on newer vehicles is not as durable as it should be.
For a vehicle intended to be beat on off-road this is great. The poor quality paint on these new vehicles is prone to chipping and scuffs way to easy as it is. Why not have a professional liner on it and forget about worrying. This probably did not cost much more than a full paint correction...
We built a big bend, black diamond and the outer banks. They were all really close in price with the options selected and went with outer banks because of the interior and the painted grill, handles, mirrors and flares. Contrary to the Ford builder the 2023 flares on the Sasquatch are in fact...
Id venture to say a tuner should do the trick. On a previous 2014 F150 and 2019 Expedition the top speed could be programmed to whatever you desired. SCT X4 tuner and 5 Star tunes.
Kinda glad this topic came up. I know I saw 102 on the speedo but that limiter shuts it down quickly. Felt...
Did a claybar, compound and polish to the hood and front quarters this weekend. HPR really wakes up with some elbow grease. Had a handful of rock chips that were down to bare metal. While we really like this color the paint is brittle compared to past vehicles. Not sure if this is due to it...
Thanks for sharing! How did it hold up to hail? I have my reservations about the paint quality on these newer vehicles. Ill add that we are in colorado and drive hwy 50 all the time. With 920 miles on the rig there were a hand full of to the metal rock chips on the hood and front quarters. I did...
Thanks for confirming. I have to admit after looking at the jamb label myself I know exactly where the "WB" came from. It is directly under the EXT PNT... WB=Wheelbase...:ROFLMAO:
Thanks
After a whole 920 miles on the new Bronco we are up to a half dozen paint chips to the hood alone. Looking at touch up paint I keep running into the code "EA" but on the jamb sticker it clearly states "WA". Can anyone out there confirm this EA is a match for the 2023s? Thanks in advance.
