I have a close friend that works at a Ford dealership. He confirmed that the dealers have very little information at this point which is why nearly all of them have been very quiet with their customers regarding prices. BTW, I do have an October reservation with Granger of that means anything.
And Ford could have communicated nothing and you'd never know the difference. I could care less if someone else who made a reservation after me gets their Bronco a few weeks or months ahead of mine. For me I recognize this is a long term deal and the vehicles aren't even being manufactured...
I put new tires on my daily driver yesterday which is a 2014 Ford Expedition. Same tire size but an LT rating instead of the P rating, so a heavier tire. It made a very noticeable difference acceleration wise with my 5.4l V8. I tow boats and an ATV around. I also plan to order the sasquatch...
I'm debating between the BD and BL. 2.7l engine, squatch with mid package. The price difference is over $3K for signature lights, rear LED lights and sway bar disconnect. The suspensions and lift I believe are the same once you get the squatch. Im fine with both interiors and accent colors...
I hope they come out with new colors for the MY22 before I have to choose because at this point, I feel like I'll be settling on a color. What I would like to see is Burnt Orange, Kodiak Brown, dark Green, Desert Tan.
Ford has made it clear that certain components will either be in limited supply or late availability. This pandemic certainly makes predictions difficult to forecast. It also makes sense if they have a delivery at a dealer across the country that they want a full truck and may manufacture...
I compared the two models and loaded them similarly. The price difference on my builds were basically a wash. I will probably stick with the BL although I do have concerns about the electronic sway bar disconnect considering the problems that Jeep is having with theirs.
Does anyone know what kind of a lift is used in the sasquatch package or if 35s will fit without a lift like the Jeep Gladiator? $2500 for slightly bigger tires and different wheels seems a bit pricy when I know I can do it for less if a suspension lift isn't involved.
Fully load any of the competitors and see the price. Im not really surprised by the prices. I will likely be opting for a more modestly loaded Badlands for low 50s.
