Its certainly worth checking into. I know someone who had their land cruiser totaled by insurance due to a leaking sunroof that corroded the main wiring harness. At first they were going to pay to have toyota replace the whole harness, then they decided it was too much and just totaled it.

What exactly are you showing with this gearing chart? Just that the engine will be in an rpm that could make boost at 5mph?

I have the homelink visor (I think) but I don't use it because i park in the driveway and that is always on, so same issue as leaving a remote in the car.

damn, that seems excessive. Sometimes insurance will cover things like this.

I was referring to the way that toyota denied issues with frame rust on tacomas and so many original owners got boned having to sell them for a lower value, then when toyota finally agreed to replace frames the second or third owners got the benefit of a new solid frame after buying the truck...

This will be one of those things that the bronco will be known for, and maybe they'll actually be forced to do something about it down the road and the fix will benefit their 3rd or 4th owners.

I believe the springs are different part numbers, but to be sure there is a thread somewhere where someone posted all the part numbers for the hoss 3.0 suspension and I believe the springs as well. There are something like 6 different rear springs and four front part numbers though.

If you're the expert why did you ask the question? The situation is similar enough, thermodynamics don't care what car you're driving. my point is that if you're rock crawling, you're not going to be making boost, and IAT aren't likely to be above ambient, or at the most, underhood temps...

a fan on your intercooler for low speed/rock crawling is not going to make a difference other than make your wallet lighter. if you're worried about heat in that situation, i'd sooner add an additional oil cooler than put a fan on the intercooler. Hell, i'd probably put a water sprayer on it...

Seriously, the trim rings are magnets for rock rash. I was going to try to find a set of silver rings to put on for wheeling trips but didn't before my first one, so it is what it is now.

It should be, but if they can't recreate or something they'll charge a diag fee. If you have the DTC stored they should be pointed to the TSB. Some dealers are hit and miss. When i had an xterra i had to print out the TSBs and give them to the nissan dealer because they wouldn't bother to...

that is wierd, I ordered for my Lexus GX, but each wheel had a ring in the box along as well as the center cap. I kept them in case I end up using them on my Bronco.

Got the call today that my replacement hard top was delivered, but was damaged in shipping. Replacement for the replacement will be here next week...

Pretty sure you're supposed to remove the trim rings to change tires

Tech hasn't been able to duplicate the issue on mine, its there a few more days for other things so maybe they'll catch it. They also somehow weren't able to duplicate the windows rattling when partially down.
