  1. Extended Warranty (Is it worth it?)

Yep, my warranty is up in 4 months and at my last service i asked about it just for sh and giggles as I expected to be costly as people who I have asked said could be around the 5 to 6 thousand mark and as a retired truck and car mechanic I have no issue doing most repairs, but the cost of the...
  2. Kilometres to empty inaccurate reading

A old trick Ford was famous for and probably all the manufactures is when you fill your tank the level is actually higher then the float and as you drive you think you are getting awesome gas mileage because the level is still on full, but when you gas level matches the float the needle drops...
  3. Kilometres to empty inaccurate reading

I have had mine down to 10 klm's to empty with no issues, but what I have notice that the fuel level can change if your vehicle is on angle and indicate more or even less depending and that will show a higher or lower available range hence the distance changes rapidly as you drive on a level road.
  4. Side mirror tilt down in reverse.

Here is the link.. Interesting. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/automatic-power-folding-mirrors.79942/
  5. Side mirror tilt down in reverse.

I did a quick search with no results but I like to know if anyone has found a way to get the side mirrors to tilt when in revers. I see if you have memory seats and mirrors it's possible? Do any Bronco's have this option? It seems like it would be a popular option and could be easy to...
  6. Foam deteriorated on removal hardtops at rear corner section on all three sections.

Just had my service done and had the foam seal checked and they said it was normal wear.. In the garage 90% of the time and has 8000 klm's on it, just sayin... Going to try to see if others have this issue as soon as I get next to one. I this a replaceable part? (foam section) I have a feeling...
  7. Foam deteriorated on removal hardtops at rear corner section on all three sections.

Going in shortly for service will see if they will do anything. I'm a member of R8Talk and just got some recent notices , but haven't posted in a long time..
  8. Foam deteriorated on removal hardtops at rear corner section on all three sections.

I don't know how long but just notice this on my hardtop and strange as I keep it garaged all the time. I don't even want to remove them and haven't for at least a year and now think I might disturb the sealing and may end up with a water leak. The foam seal does feels like it would flake off if...
  9. 3 blinker blinks to 5 or 6

I and a few others have been waiting for this over a year ago and have seen nothing. I tried it on my F150 Raptor and all worked well back then, but the code for Bronco is not the same unless someone has an update. I haven't seen much Forscan changes for the Bronco lately.
  10. Will your Bronco wheelie?

I looked at this many years ago to see how the trickery was done, although it looks good you can see that they used some photoshop and used some lifting device as you look close just before it lifts you cannot see the right front tire underneath the car. Surely lots of other effects done...
  11. First oil service questions (Bronco Raptor)

I agree this is probably one of the better recommended servicing as others are doing similar to keep these engines going and it works.. So in my situation with a service agreement it looks like I have missed 2 services so far although I only have 4000 klm's I did wait for the OLR notice. After...
  12. First oil service questions (Bronco Raptor)

I have had my Bronco for over a year now with 4000 klm's not much but I am getting service required notification and I have a service agreement in place. So my first question is: can I switch to full synthetic now ? It is an option with this service package but at a cost and not sure how much it...
  13. Why do we hate Auto Start/Stop so much?

So I agree it is annoying and if it wasn't so noticeable I would probably tolerate it , so also to consider is the auto transmission that I was not aware of and someone correct me if I am wrong is that an electric pump either comes on or is running all the time to maintain pressure to apply...
  14. JTops - Save 20% this 4th! 🧨

Here in Canada it's practically impossible to get anything and most items come from the U.S. and you must consider paying double by time your item gets to your door. I've priced a top at JTops and at the end to pay they say they don't ship to Canada. So 6 months ago I had a relative that was...
  15. Wind deflector for Bronco Raptor

Great info! So my story was right out of the box was to install a deflector as mentioned , but all say it's not for the Raptor ok lets go to option 2 for the short term and ceramic coat the glass until a better deflector was available although it was not the solution I was confident to keep the...
  16. Dont put your hard top front panels in the back seat

I had the same issue when I put the doors on some saw-horses to add PPF and when I turned them over there were a couple of dents on the panel like you have. I then took a heat gun and lightly heated (warmed) the area and massaged the area and the marks came out. They were not as bad as some of...
  17. FordPass App v5.0 Launched

Just updated, seen no notification so had to search in playstore for android and updated from there. I see nothing new or exciting other then a different layout and some visuals missing. It would be nice to change your vehicle image to a photo of your own, but seems like asking for a lot.
  18. Gas gauge not going down and other weird issues

I have always believed this is a little trick Ford has done for many years with the gas gauge. When you fill the gas tank the level goes higher then the float and you drive around thinking you are getting great mileage as the needle is not moving for some time, but then after the level gets...
  19. Dash rattle driving me nuts

Yes I did try that and it was not the problem , but I did put a small piece of foam inside as they do sit quite loose. So I ended up taking the top of the dash off and the noise was gone and did a cheap fix and it seamed better at first. The colder temps made it worse and the coldest days I had...
