I did a quick search with no results but I like to know if anyone has found a way to get the side mirrors to tilt when in revers. I see if you have memory seats and mirrors it's possible? Do any Bronco's have this option?
It seems like it would be a popular option and could be easy to incorporate but don't understand how a simple operation is not available on this type of vehicle. I haven't been on Forscan for some time and the last time I looked it was available for F150's. Thanks for any info.

I don't want anything automatic on my Bronco if possible. Anything that's automatic will screw up automatically. That's why I have lane keeping and pre-collision assist turned off. I allow pre-collision assist to give warnings. So far it's given me four warnings where there wasn't any collision imminent.

I will say auto dimming of headlights works reasonably well. But even when it doesn't, it doesn't cause a problem.

I keep my mirrors tilted down 24/7, just enough to see for backing and parking, but just enough for normal side use. Sweet spot. I too wanted the badlands for the off road hardware (lift, wheels, transfer case) but none of the high/lux electronics to go bad.

Had this in my 1500 AT4. Was nice to prevent scrubbing rims on the curb without adjusting for view.
Indeed. I have this in my 911. I love it. Works just how I need it to, every time. No draw backs. Incredibly effective at keeping ones wheels curb rash free.

You could consider the SUMA side mirrors (mirror only--not housing or arm). There's been a fair bit of discussion on Bronco6G. I have them--and even got the model with the turn signal in the glass. You just run a wire through the mirror arm through the door to a turn signal wire and splice in.

They're engineered to eliminate the Bronco's blind spot. I like them--but you have to learn to accommodate the shorter distances a convex mirror produces.

Hit the right mirror button and it will stop.

I had mirror tilt in my BMW and one of the 1st things I did was turn it off. I hated it.
I have it in my Escalade and have turned it off. Works great the 5% of the time I need it but the other 95% of the time its annoying.

Maybe this makes me sound old or maybe I don’t understand the point of this convo. But has backing up become a lost art? When I learned to drive, you turned your head or rolled a window down and poked your head for those close curbs. Now you have back up cameras standard on most vehicles, some equipped with 360 view which should be ample assistance. I find the Bronco easy to drive, park and maneuver in tight spots. Way better than my HUMVEE when I was in the military. That thing was a land yacht.

I agree that the Suma mirrors are great. The biggest problem with them is the tint. I have tinted windows and at night it is virtually impossible to see out of them. I, and many others, have asked Suma to make the non-tinted version, but so far, they have resisted.
