I have always believed this is a little trick Ford has done for many years with the gas gauge. When you fill the gas tank the level goes higher then the float and you drive around thinking you are getting great mileage as the needle is not moving for some time, but then after the level gets...
Yes I did try that and it was not the problem , but I did put a small piece of foam inside as they do sit quite loose. So I ended up taking the top of the dash off and the noise was gone and did a cheap fix and it seamed better at first. The colder temps made it worse and the coldest days I had...
Last few days notice the "R" button not working and did some research and some say to wait a day and check , but still not working. Found same issue on F150 Raptor forms and they say to disconnect the negative battery terminal for 10 to 15 minutes. Disconnected mine for an hour while I was...
Update: I put a small piece of foam in the windshield brackets to stop any rattles and that was not what was causing the rattle I could hear. I am sure in the summer these would be noisy with the windows down.
So on the inside I removed loose items inside the glove box, dash cam mirror and...
Great idea with the bracket covers at the top of windshield as I have had them off before and they where quite loose and I am going to trace some mods I done around that area as I ran my power supply cable for my dash cam along the windshield trim and drivers A pillar. Thanks
I have a rattle that seems to be around the center top of dash maybe more towards the drivers side that is annoying . I turn up the radio and that works, but to have a conversation with another person you have to turn down the radio and then I hear this rattle. I cannot make it rattle banging on...
Nice review and spot on. My 6 month review is much the same. the s/show I went through for 450 days kinda left a scar as it is always my first talking point.
I am pleasantly surprised so far as that I was expecting a dog power wise with the 37's as my 21 F150 Raptor had to be driven in sport...
Does any Bronco have the ability to sense fuel grade or octane rating which might affect the tune and adjust power levels accordingly? I can see if there was an engine problem that Ford could see what octane fuel you were driving with that may have effect to the issue one might have.
Thanks to KansasRaptor for his info regarding doing this operation..
The front plastic cover and lower shield came off quite easy. I wanted to remove the hooks but to get them off the bumper has to come off to access a bolt on the inside to be able to remove the hook, so I decided to mask...
That's awesome thanks so much for the info. Planning to do it in the next couple of weeks as it looks pretty simple like you say. I just got a can of the Raptor spray on liner and see if it has the texture otherwise I will get the Herculiner .
Great info I will do as you have described and thanks for the details . If you get a chance could you supply the paint manufacture and part numbers. The more I think about it the sooner I want to do it. lol
Well done! I like it a lot and the more I look the more I like, even more that I may consider doing mine. I like the complete black look of the bumper.
So in the finished pic it looks like the drivers side lower control arm is painted? Also did you remove the plates to paint them? Thanks
Any update to change to 5 blinks for lane change? The spreadsheet I am viewing has the info crossed out and the reference numbers do not match to change the code. Thanks
I had a similar problem as I was working on detailing mine. I had the doors open switching the ignition on and off several times as I was working away. When I was finished I just went in the house for the evening and I had a notice on my Ford Pass app that the battery was disconnected to save...
How do I remove the fender flare piece attached at the rear doors, planning to do some PPF and if not too much trouble I would like to remove from the doors for easier application. Thanks
