  1. 1970 bronco with 5.0 coyote engine on copart still runs and drives but rolled. link below

Personally, the 94k buy-it-now price is pretty good. Roll over damage doesn’t look too horrible. These “new” ftom VB are around 250k
  2. Middle top panel delamination/cracking?

MIC 2.0. September 21 molding date. Caught this a few weeks before the warranty was up. Dealer replaced under warranty but took over 2 months to get the panel. As you can see, the clamshell has the same waviness/bubbling. They would not replace that part. Guarantee these tops will all look like...
  3. Long travel or not?

The Camburg team makes nice stuff. I had their LT kit on my old Ranger. Back when putting on a bolt-on LT kit was pretty exotic. Most LT setups at the time were fab shop created. Everything went on easy and the geometry was pretty dialed. If I was looking for a kit for my Bronco, I wouldn’t...
  4. Don't underestimate the 27mm rear strut bottom nut...

That stuff is a godsend. Makes PB look like plain water.
  5. OEM Battery Life - How Many Years?

I got a little over 9 years on my 2013 F-150. Got lucky.
  6. 🚨 Recall: Engine valve issue for some 2021-2022 2.7L Broncos and other models

2021 that slipped through before lockdown and the Dirt Mtn mess. My gen1 top was horrendous and this is the gen2 replacement. Top build date was late September 21.
  7. 🚨 Recall: Engine valve issue for some 2021-2022 2.7L Broncos and other models

Get in and complain now. Mines past the warranty but got this approved before it ran out. The closer I look, I see more signs it’s delaminating.
  8. 🚨 Recall: Engine valve issue for some 2021-2022 2.7L Broncos and other models

You are definitely in the range. You can also look at your oil fill tube and pull the engine build date off of there.
  9. 🚨 Recall: Engine valve issue for some 2021-2022 2.7L Broncos and other models

My engine was built on June 9th of 2021. 18k on the clock and my only concern is when it’s cold out (under 20F) the engine makes a lot of noise until it warms up. Assume it’s a phaser issue It doesn’t show up on the NHTSA site yet, but I’m really curious as to what they will be testing. Hardness...
  10. Exploding Back Glass

Just got word back from the dealer. Ford is covering the replacement hatch glass and struts under warranty!
  11. Exploding Back Glass

Old thread, but did you get it covered under warranty from Ford or did you have to go through insurance? My rear window self-destructed in a parking lot the other day. A group of people on the patio said they heard a loud pop and saw glass everywhere. Said no one was around. One of the gas...
  12. Back hard top window randomly broke

Searching and found this thread. Yesterday, my rear window just blew out sitting in a parking lot. Had the owner of the place come ask if it was my bronco. About 6 people on the patio said they heard a loud pop and saw glass everywhere. No one near the car. Afterwards, looking at the mess, looks...
  13. You know you’re a B6G old-timer when….

I must have Jinxed it. My rear window decided the leave the chat today. Took the sticker and my Wayne plant window sticker with it. I had moved it to the hatch glass when my first windshield was replaced.
  14. You know you’re a B6G old-timer when….

    Saved from my Gen1 Hardtop.
  15. Finally finished my Grabber Blue Bronco custom repaint! 😁

100% agree. Would have been an easy choice to go GB.
  16. SAS VS SAS

If you say "SAS" at my work, most would think you're talking about a "Stability Augmentation System".
  17. Fox 2.5 Performance Need UCA?

Staying under 2” of lift and you likely can keep OEM parts. A good alignment shop will let you know how close to Ford specs you can get. Any UCA that’s worth installing should have the pivot point moved to correct alignment. That noted, if you have low amounts of lift, under 2”, adding a UCA...
  18. Best UCA survey - which did you go with and why?

I went Camburg Tubular steel. Does what it needs to do. Gets alignment back on track and slightly more droop travel for the coil-overs I’m running. My close second choice was Total Chaos. both companies make great products. I hear and have seen mixed results with Icon arms. Not really a fan of...
  19. 4 Wheel Parts 4WP 2.5 VSRT Coilovers - Off-Road Impression Review

You're right. Not sure why I thought Radflo was further inland.
  20. 4 Wheel Parts 4WP 2.5 VSRT Coilovers - Off-Road Impression Review

Fox and Bilstien are the only manufacturers in the San Diego area. Radflo, Icon, SAW, Fabtech are in the Inland Empire/Riverside. King is in Huntington Beach.
