My Big Bend has the Hoss 1.0, rear locker, and 4,27 gears. Drove a SAS at the Off-Rodeo, and that thing handled everything. 2 inch lift, and finishing installing the remaining skids would make things a bit nicer off pavement.
Ford released their mid year price increases, and now the Base model “starts” at $41K.
Ford just released their mid year price increases, and the Base model now starts at $41K.
I see the reason why this is a thing. People that can afford this will not bat one lash at its price. I, personally, don’t need all of that fluff. I’m happy with what I have, and love my Bronco. It does everything I tell it to do, and never complains. Pricing is steadily increasing with all...
Family and I were also in Moab during the holiday weekend. We did Hells Revenge and Fins and Things in a pair of UTV’s, as my rig is the standard height. Lift is coming. We all must have just been drive past each other all weekend long!
Same here. 2.3L, 10R60. It really acts up below operating temp. Once it’s all the way warmed up, it’s better. 1st, and 2nd gears are a tad less than smooth (wondering shift); seems like it’s not sure exactly when its supposed to shift. Not heavy on throttle, just normal driving.
I installed this on my 2.3l. Super easy. Also installed mistumoto’s intercooler tubes and cold air all in one shot. Seemed to work out easier than installing each bit one by one.
Again, based on my experience, and, from what we’ve seen at our dealer on a daily basis, we have not seen any major issues with the 2.3L. One more time, just my two cents, and my personal choice with powertrains.
I am so glad that I had my Bronco built with the 2.3l. After doing my homework, and noticing trends within our shop (employed by my local Ford dealer), we, as a dealer, haven’t seen any mentionable major issues with the 2.3l. No phasers, no major recalls, etc…. Plus, I’m not a big fan of the...
I installed that same kit over the weekend, and had to stop right at that point. I work for a local Ford dealer, and I know we’ve installed a few of these in the past. I was told, on the 2023, that you can either pull the blue and brown pins out of the connector, and tape them up, and install...
