I ordered one of these from amazon and plugged it in behind my console box in the 110 outlet. I have it attached to the side of my console box with heavy duty velcro. I can now charge everything and really fast.

My buddy has the RC mount with a Badlands 12k winch. No issues pulling his truck out of all the fun things he gets himself into. Mount seems pretty stout.
Why don't you like where the factory mount puts the winch? Its only slightly lower.
Running 38's with beadlocks for about 6 months now. Just make sure you get a quality tire to put on there so you don't need to balance them and beadlock them multiple times.
Looks like you are stuck. For that money to replace it at the dealer I would just buy a complete unit off of FB market place for less and replace the whole thing. You could also ask your dealer if they could do a goodwill claim since your are just out of warranty.
