I second the KO3s. I’ve been running them for a year now and have tested them in all conditions except for sand. Their wet traction appears to be vastly improved, and they performed exceptionally well in the big snow my area got back in January.
I still have the hammock, playing cards, flag, and calendar. I almost backed out of the waiting game when my dealer accidentally canceled my reservation, but thankfully I learned enough from others on this forum how to help him reinstate my reservation and tie it to my order. Glad I “hung in...
Not today, but next Saturday I’m going to my local Broncofest in VA. Will take lots of pics if I can remember. Last year all gens were very well represented including a few 66s. One guy even had a 1979 diesel conversion!
If it were designed in such a way that it covered the entire cargo area when in cover mode AND it could be secured by a locking mechanism for theft deterrent, that would be a major selling point. It could perhaps even be hinged to accommodate loading of both tall and short items. Additionally...
Windrock looks awesome in the fog! Looks like yours is squatched. Wondering if the trails you took would be fine for non squatch on 33s and stock Hitachi shocks. Hoping to have 5100s set to an inch lift at all 4 corners installed by the time my Windrock trip comes in early May, but may still...
Sunday January 5th, 2025. Later that evening we got a quarter inch of ice followed by a few more inches of snow. Before the ice arrived I went out and tested the new KO3s to see how well they maintained traction and was not disappointed. After that went to a big empty grocery store parking lot...
1. Stereo upgrade! Kicker Key, Infinity Reference at all 4 corners and a Kicker 8” Hideaway sub. Total game changer. Amon Amarth’s “Twilight of the Thunder God” played loudly in the closed up Bronco is almost as good as remote start for melting the snow off, lol.
2. Body Armor front bumper with...
I love that Diode Dynamics have yellow covers available for their SS3s. I installed them on my white SS3 Sports and really like the yellow light output for snowy, rainy, and foggy conditions.
I have Infinity Reference at all four corners. Once I bumped the gain for the rears up a notch on the Kicker key, it worked wonders for mine. You may need to experiment with how much gain to add for the rear channels however, as I added too much initially and sound stage was rear dominant, but...
I went with KO3s in 285/70/17 on my stock Big Bend rims from Discount Tire in early September and thankfully all 5 of mine balanced fine. Massive upgrade for me over the factory Duellers! I’ve only been through a few rain storms since getting them, but have had zero issues with wet traction so...
I picked up a set of 5 285/70/17 C in early September from Discount Tire and am loving them so far. Since I have the 2.7 and 4.27 gears, the size and weight seem to be a perfect match - not sluggish at all upon takeoff, but I always thought the stock Duellers felt bit too lurchy/torquey for the...
I do wish Ford would have allowed us 2021 owners to use our vouchers since an Off Rodeo is finally available in my neck of the woods, but I understand. The location looks amazing and I bet those attending over the next few weekends are in for a real treat regarding Fall foliage, since peak seems...
i agree with the drawer liner solution for the best of both worlds. On a separate note, would the solid compartment between the 2 molle drawers potentially accommodate a standard 15” laptop? If so and cannot be accessed without opening the tailgate, this will be an ideal solution for my needs...
BF Goodrich KO3 285/70/17 on stock Big Bend wheels. I love how planted it feels now - absorbs roads imperfections I would really feel with the stock Duellers before. Really took away the body wallow the Duellers exhibited too. I really wanted to powder coat the stock BB wheels glossy or matte...
Finally upgraded to BFG KO3s in 285/70/17 C load! Shoutout to @Discount Tire in Bristol, VA for their quick and friendly service. Will definitely be getting tires rotated there from now on, as they understand the concept of a 5 tire rotation, unlike my local dealer who came up with every excuse...
I went with plugnplaykits 11-4 wiring harness, which includes a 17’ high level input - perfect for my Kicker Key 200.4 and Hideaway HS8. I ran the 17’ lead which inludes the L&R positive and negative and accompanying power and ground wire down the driver side door trim by popping off the dead...
