Here's my wish, for what it's worth: New naturally-aspirated I4 or V6; lower-cost model with cloth seats, manual transmission, and as few electronic doo-dads as possible.
This is awesome. Do you air down? The extent of my off-roading is mostly driving the soft, deep sands of the Outer Banks. I really appreciate any posts about driving in the beach sands!
1. Cloth seats at least as an option on more than the Base and the Heritage.
2. Saddle-colored leather like on the Heritage Limited.
3. Better interior materials.
4. More painted hardtop options. Velocity blue Bronco with a Wimbledon White top, anyone?
5. 4A available across the board...
Amen to that! It took me over 2 years to clean out my dad's house. Would have been quicker, but I found the reason I was tiring so quickly was that I had 95% blockage myself, unbeknownst at the time. It all boiled down to 4 dumpsters and two 1972 Galaxie 500's. I'm now 63 and desperately need to...
That used to be a huge pet peeve of mine. My mother-in-law, who was otherwise wonderful, constantly referred to the "Frigidaire", even though the logo on the door clearly said "Kenmore". My mind screamed, "MA!! It's called a REFRIGERATOR!!!" But I had to remind myself that I religiously say...
I love the 2.3, but nobody presents a messier engine bay than Ford. It looks like a high school football team was turned loose on an all-you-can-eat spaghetti bar.
Ford pisses me off. I just did B&P, and the only colors they don't charge you for is black, white, and silver. All the other colors are between $295-$995. The first company I saw do that was Audi. My middle finger salutes the Ford price-setting people.
Ok allow me to correct and refine my statement... You are correct, it is part of the Black Diamond package on the 2025's; a $4,500 package. Beyond that, you cannot get 4A on the Bronco until you hit the Badlands trim (or order SAS).
On the F-150, you cannot get 4A until the Lariat package.
On...
How about a robust non-turbo 4-cyl to keep costs and complexities down? How about making 4-auto available across the board? And more bright colors: See Jeep's example.
